I am certainly not the target audience for Pauline Books and Media, but I accompanied my friend on a recent visit. The staff were of course quite friendly, and the place was perfectly clean, with a welcoming atmosphere. There were plenty of nuns, but fortunately no rulers in sight. I will say I was surprised at a relatively limited selection, which did not necessarily help in our quest for gifts appropriate for a baptism. Still the best Pauline Books & Media place in this part of Alexandria, to be sure.

Camp Hill, PA
A great place to buy Catholic books, art, decorations, etc., or just to get away from it all. They even have a chapel upstairs, which tells you a lot about where their heart is at. I wanted to buy a friend of mine a few gifts for her upcoming (adult) baptism into the Church, and Pauline Books had two books that some other reputable bookstores didn’t carry. One stop shopping in the heart of Old Town!

I like this place. Its location is nice and the street has a mixture of stores & restaurants. The store itself is well organized and stocked. They have a good variety of items and its corner location provides plenty of natural lighting. I like that they have a good selection of miniature saint statues.
