What a lovely little space this is, and disarmingly quiet, just as other reviewers have noted. Walking in at dinnertime to find just one other couple in the place makes you wonder if you should walk right back out. Once they left, we were alone for nearly the entire meal. All doubts were thankfully buried under platters of hummus and deliciously grilled meats, however. The hummus was a good starter, though I was not so much a fan of the bread it was served with, which perhaps wasn’t as fresh as it could have been. We ordered the cornish game hen and a combo plate of chicken and ground sirloin. Everything was juicy and spiced exquisitely. Tried the yogurt-based Doogh beverage, and have to say that it was good, but if you’re not used to the flavor, you’ll likely have difficulty finishing an entire serving. We actually ended up spooning some of it over the rice, which may be 100% unorthodox, but was also 100% tasty. Service was great, though the lack of a crowd meant there were few obstacles in that regard. The food absolutely merits a crowd.
