I went back and got a refund was not able to get my tip back but that’s ok I know not to come back here again ever because when I asked if someone else could fix it they said no and they looked at me like I was crazy for a demanding a refund for my carrot hair top

Needed a haircut and randomly walked in. The barber Dalal was cutting my hair today and was horrible. She’s chewing and smacking menthol gum in your ear the entire time. I asked for my usual 6 on the sides and to leave the top long enough where I could comb it to the side for work. Most barbers I’ve used use clippers on the side and scissors to layer the top of the head. Not Dalal, she takes the clippers and ran it through my head at 6 on the side and 8 on top. No skill/​craft, just like the barbers during basic training. I’m not a vain guy, but for $ 18, I expect more than running clippers over my head.

Worst haircut of my life! I’ve been here a few times with decent results. Today I went in, an old guy led me over to his area, sat me down cut my hair for 5 minutes and said «ok, we done!» Took off the apron and walked away. My hair was a mess, totally uneven and not even cut in parts.
I just left and went somewhere else to save me. My hair was so bad this other place had to cut my hair shorter than I wanted I order to fix the cluster f*%@ that was my hair.
Never going back here. I recommend you take my advice and find somewhere else to go.

While the staff was very friendly it was the WORST haircut I have had in years. The two stars are for the attitude and demeanor of the staff I would leave negative stars for the haircut were that possible!

I had at first gone to a different hair cuttery about two months before visiting this location. My go to cuttery is mostly very good, but when I went in to donate my hair to the beautiful lengths program, I left not loving my new short bob. So, I went to this hair cuttery a few months later as it is closer to my home to get the cut I should have gotten in the first place. I just wanted her to add in some layers for a little bit of texture and SHE BUTCHERED MY HAIR! She had NO idea how to cut in layers. I showed her a picture of what I liked, but it didn’t help. My layers started so high up (at about eyebrow length), the back was now longer than the front (opposite of what I had going in) and it was entirely uneven! The layers starting at the top on the left were longer than the right side, and the length in the back was crooked too! My hair is chin length, so this is a very obvious mistake. Also, she blowed my hair out with a round brush and ended up making it look worse. My hair ended up square shaped due to the styling and short layers. I looked about 20 years older and I left crying, having never had a cut so bad in my life! It’s now been 4 months since that disaster, and it’s finally ready for an experienced stylist to fix this mistake.

First off, this is all according to James O. as I personally did not get my hair cut here. However, I was with him if that counts.
He wholeheartedly approved of it because 1) it was $ 9 cheaper than in DC, 2) the cut included a wash, 3) they did as good a job as the more expensive places, and 4) they are open late and on the weekends.
I approved of it because 1) there was no wait, 2) he still looked good after the cut, 3) it looked better than I expected on the inside, and 4) it’s in the same shopping plaza as Total Wine & More.
So, in conclusion, if your guy needs a cut, this is a good place to take him to get one.

I can’t remember his name, but weird little Asian dude, I will be back. When I get a good haircut in my neighborhood I tend to be very loyal. See you soon, bro.
