First Impression Orthodontics

Dr. Lu is an amazing orthodontist with a keen eye in making the teeth naturally aligned. He might be a perfectionist and wants everything just right, but that is okay with me!

My daughter was very nervous about getting braces. We had a consultation with another orthodontist and were told that we should get one more consultation. I think that she recognized my daughter’s uneasiness. I decided to get one more consultation because I wanted to be able to go back to that orthodontist and let her know that I had done as she said. I am really glad that I took her advice! I did some research and found Dr. Lu. He had received all kinds of awards in dental school which was very impressive. Also, he had 5 years of experience with another orthodontist with whom he was still practicing. I decided with the convenience of First Impression Orthodontics, I would get my second opinion from him. He was extremely thorough in examining my daughter’s teeth and taking pictures of them, so he could explain in detail the steps that would be taken to improve her teeth. He also showed us a video presentation to help us understand what would be done as well by showing us the teeth models. My daughter had a huge smile on her face which was a completely different response to the last orthodontist, and she said she wanted Dr. Lu to be her orthodontist. She has successfully gotten her braces, even though she was a little nervous. Dr. Lu even worked with her to give her a different option to the expander which she was nervous about. Dr. Lu and his staff are very polite and easy to work with. I would highly recommend them!

I went to Dr. Lu for my Invisalign treatment. He did a great job with my treatment and was very careful and gentle and explained things so well. I’m so happy with the outcome and get frequent compliments on my new smile. I recommend him to all my family and friends. He has a great modern office and staff too! The office is in a great location.

Dr. Lu and staff are wonderful. They did an outstanding job of explaining all the options to us and helping us pick the best choice for our son. The office is new, clean and they make good use of technology to enhance the client experience. Dr. Lu and his staff are friendly, patient, and gentle. My 14 year old son was fitted with the Invisilign today and even with his the big grin on his face I couldn’t even tell he is wearing them. We highly recommend them!

When we were told by our dentist at my son’s last check-​up that it was time to make the orthodontist appointment, she gave us two recommendations. I also had another one that I wanted to consult. I eliminated one of them because no matter how hard I tried, I couldn’t get a hold of anyone ever. For the other one, it also seemed impossible to get a human voice on the line during office hours (but at least they called me back!), which meant we played an un-​fun game of phone tag– but the orthodontist seemed nice enough, and the consult went ok. However, when we met Dr. Lu, we knew right away we had found my son’s orthodontist– and it just so happened to be one our dentist had recommended! It was easy to get a consultation right away, and the doctor was extremely thorough in explaining what we needed done (my son has a very small mouth and really big teeth, so we knew this was not going to be a simple case). Everything from the treatment to the financing/​payment plans was extremely clear. All of the treatment and follow-​ups are going as planned (first set of braces and a spacer), the office staff has been helpful and accommodating (and easy to get a hold of!), and my son is both comfortable and likes his orthodontist. I appreciate that.
