Dr. Qureshi is an awesome dentist and an incredibly affable human being. There are many dentists in the DC area, but I have heard quite a few horror stories of folks not getting the correct treatments(missed detection of cavities, etc) — and I would never consider going to anyone else. Through the past few years of going to Dr. Qureshi, I’ve discovered that his staff is top-notch — Joan, in particular, is a phenomenal hygienist who has always been able to take care of my somewhat troublesome teeth. Dr. Qureshi himself has stayed late on several occasions to make sure that I got the proper treatment. He is also incredibly easy to talk to, always has a goofy smile that is contagious, and is very clear when explaining his diagnosis. Like one of the other reviewers(who gave Dr. Qureshi a paltry 3 stars), I grew up in the NoVa area and went to Dr. Zimmet first(for a good 10+ years). I loved Dr. Zimmet, but honestly can say that I don’t understand what anyone would have against Dr. Qureshi — he is the perfect inheritor to Dr. Zimmet’s legacy(and office/staff). I like Dr. Qureshi so much, that even when I was living and working in Rockville, MD, I would commute twice(sometimes three times) a year to visit his office. He is truly a great dentist and you can’t go wrong by paying him a visit.

I was able to get a day of emergency dentist appointment with Dr. Quereshi due to facial swelling and tooth pain and he has been amazing. Not only is he a great dentist but he has called me at home during my recovery to make sure that I am not having any addittional pain or side effects. I have found my new dentist and I couldn’t be happier. I would recommend Dr. Qureshi to anyone. Very friendly and great staff.

I wish I could give Dr. Qureshi 4 stars, but I just cant do it, I used to see Dr. Zimmet has a kid and loved him, but I had different dental insurance than he took, so I had to go elsewhere, fast forward about 15 years I had a cavity that was Killing me and no dentist to go to so I gave Dr. Zimmet’s office a call to find out he retired, adn there was a new guy DR. Qureshi. Turns out I needed a root canal, so I went to a endodontest, and got it done, then came the crown fitting, I knew that was going to take a week, but getting the whole crown took almost 8 weeks, and 3 visits, My mother and father have both had crown and it was about 2 weeks and a visit for the fitting and a visit for the install, and it was done, so there goes one star. Number two to go was price, and Dr. Qureshi getting fed up with my mouth. I bleed easy and Dr Qureshi seemed to get fed up at poking my gums and they started to bleed, he also kept suggested that the two wisdom teeth I have in the back of my mouth that need to be pulled might also need a root canal. I know they need pulling becasue the dentist I saw in college said I would need to get them pulled when I could afford it. I have no dental insurance, and man was he expensive I now know after calling around and finding out what different dentist charge. If I ever get the dental insurance he takes I would be back there in a flash, Jone the hygienist does a super job cleaning teeth, and is very genital even with my bleeding gums.
