We had the tricolor pasta and LA Copra pizza. Both were really great. The owner came by and said hi and made sure everything was great. Even got us more marinara sauce for the pasta. The food was delicious. I would definitely go there again.

Ate here once and it was pretty solid. Great beer prices, pizza was good and everything else was too. Their State College, PA location used to be good, but this one is definitely better. If anything else give it a shot for the good prices and pizza.

Hidden in the Mt Vernon area. I love a good pizza. I would go here again.

We came in for a late lunch and were not disappointed. We ordered a pizza and it was perfect. I’m very picky with pizza and usually don’t like pizza from new restaurants. They followed my directions perfectly. Also, they have Peroni on draft, which was great!

The food is amazing here. I’ve been there twice and have shared dishes with friends each time and have never had something I didn’t love!

Cute little pizza place with other sorts of Italian food as well. However, nothing compares to actual Italian pizza. My husband and I shared a pesto pizza with olives and tomatoes as well as the eggplant appetizer. Both were very good, but I think I still prefer Bilbo Baggins (an Alexandria bar) pizza.

We ordered the Faccia Luna pizza. We both enjoyed the crust a lot. The toppings weren’t too bad either. The pizza had very little sauce on it. The interior is dated, but all in all, not to bad.

Great food! I would come here everyday if I could. Very authentic Italian cuisine & our service from our server Azzuru was awesome! 5 stars definitely :)

Had the pepperoni and mushroom pizza… loved it! Greek salad as an appetizer was excellent also. Beer selection was very good also… and was served nice Nd cold just the way I like it.

Pizza is excellent! Good crust fresh toppings! The arugala pizza is to die for. The chicken presto is great! Glad we came!

The food isn’t tasty and just very ordinary. It was ok, didn’t find the pizza or pasta dishes authentic.

The place is nice, stopped by on a Saturday night just before 9 pm — no wait and friendly staff. Our waiter greeted us and took our drinks order, brought us crayon for our little guy and came back to get our orders. The food came out not more than 5 – 7 minutes after we placed it — I must say I’ve tried better Italian food but it was pretty good. The chicken was a bit burnt, my fiancée’s food tasted really good as well. Overall I would recommend if you’re in the area and looking for a friendly spot that offers pretty decent food and you won’t wait hours on it. I would definitely visit again perhaps I’ll try something else from their menu.

I just moved to the area from New York, so whether or not I ate a ton of pizza before — I’m craving it all the time now! Of course, I hopped on Unilocal to see where some good local spots were to start my search to fill the pizza sized hole in my foodie soul. Disclaimer — I already know there’s no way I’ll find a match for the pizza I’m used to, so I’m just looking for yummy pizza, with good crust, solid topping options and good service.
Thankfully, we found Faccia Luna on the first try. We started with the meatball sliders (which as others say I only found «ok,» however my dinner date loved them. We disagree on sauce to meatball ratio… these are more meat, less sauce). As for the pizza, I really enjoyed it. It’s straightforward pizza, with a good doughy crust and bubbling cheese. I ate my leftovers cold the next day and it was still flavorful.
More points to the positive side — there is an outdoor patio area, our server was really sweet and attentive, and they have a good beer selection. I’m already looking forward to my next pie!

My wife and I and our out of town friends decided to eat here because their teenagers were demanding pizza for dinner. We were all really happy with our pizzas, the toppings were very fresh and the crusts were lite flavorful. We especially enjoyed the tomato and basil pizza. The service and cleanliness of this place high marks, I’m sure we will be returning soon for a bite to eat without the company.

Mmm, delicious! My fiancé and I ordered take-​out from Faccia Luna recently. We got a giant Roma pizza. As soon as we saw this pizza on the menu, we knew it was the one we both wanted to order — it came with sundried tomatoes and fresh basil, and we also asked to add sausage on top. We called ahead to place our order and it was ready and fresh when we got there. Even hours later, after having been reheated, the pizza was delicious! That’s how you know you have quality pizza. So amazing! There’s street parking outside, but since it’s in/​near Old Town Alexandria, parking can be tight during busy times (we visited at 3pm on a Saturday afternoon so we had no difficulty finding parking). The restaurant itself is large and we would definitely be up for dining in whenever we order from there next. Great pizza in a great location — definitely worth a try.

Came on a weekday evening for dinner. We did a build your own pizza and it turned out great. Our waiter was very helpful with recommendations for toppings and being patient with us. The pizza itself was delicious with very fresh and abundant toppings. The crust was good as well, nice and flaky but not too thick. They also have a decent selection of craft beer.

Best Italian Food!!! This place make amazing food! During the warmer months you can eat outside. I love coming here. The pizza is so yummy but my favorite is the butternut squash ravioli. Definitely a must try!

About a 2 – 2.5: Faccia Luna is an American trattoria that has 3 locations — Arlington, Alexandria, and in State College, PA. Their menu offers starters (such as Tomato Bruschetta, Mozzarella & Tomato, and Meatball Sliders), salads, sandwiches, pasta dishes, pizza, and a daily offering of specials. My friend and I came here for an early dinner, and we were seated promptly by the hostess. There were plenty of tables and booths, and when you enter, there’s a bar area, but more seating is in the back near the kitchen. My friend had the House Salad (chopped field greens, mushrooms, cheese, and tomatoes) and a Margherita (tomato and cheese); I tried their Sopressatta pizza (Italian dry salami slices, basil, and added a ‘premium’ topping of caramelized onions. The salad seemed fresh, and my friend enjoyed it with a side of ranch dressing. The pizzas, I was not impressed with — the slices of the sopressata, in which I usually am a huge fan of, had a slight off taste to it — it wasn’t as flavorful and savory as I thought it would have been, and it seemed more prosciutto-​y. The dough itself was very chewy and cardboard-​like, and it was just too much with the thin layer of the toppings. The basil was a nice touch, and the addition of the caramelized onions didn’t help — it was way overly sweet. Our server, Pedro, was MIA during our dining experience, and he was more focused on family with children. I’m glad I was able to check this place out, but not sure if I’d go back.

This is going to be a brief, simple review. Ate here for a business lunch. Food, atmosphere, service were excellent. I was surprised that the place was more upscale than I had anticipated. I would definitely return.
If you are looking for great food and service in a comfortable upscale atmosphere and not overpay, this is your place.

We were in town for business and so glad we found this place. The Faccia Luna pizza was cooked to perfection. We enjoyed it so much, that we took an entire one TO GO!
The chicken parm, however, wasn’t the worst I’ve had. But… the chicken was extremely breaded, so looking for the chicken in all that coating felt much like an Easter egg hunt. And the breading was mushy.
Just order the pizza. Trust me. Super delish!
