I’ve been going here for years… Sure, they’re pricey, but they’re convenient. Today, I noticed that the shirt I’d sent out to them for cleaning had come back with two broken snaps.(Snaps which, incidentally, they’d sewed on for me) I took it in and told them about it, and they sighed and made a big deal about how they were going to accommodate me THIS time, but that they were really not responsible and I should know that. I told them that I’d just take my shirt elsewhere, as well as the rest of my business going forward. Really disappointing that for 10 minutes of time and two $ 0.08 cent snaps they’d trash a longtime customer relationship.

I went here to get 5 dresses dry-cleaned. One of them needed a little bit of sewing on the back, but nothing major. When the lady took my dresses and gave me the receipt, it said $ 56. Huh? She charged me for five dresses and the minor sewing, but she also charged me extra because one of them had a lining and one of them had a little bit of fuzz on it. I’ve NEVER had that happen. And even if she didn’t charge me for those«extras,» the price is clearly still outrageous for five dresses. I handed her the receipt back and asked if I could get my dresses back. Now I have to find somewhere else to get my clothes cleaned.

DESTRUCTIVE, TERRIBLECLEANINGANDWORSECUSTOMERSERVICE. Not to mention, way overpriced. I took my nice khaki peacoat for cleaning — I got it back and EVERY single button is discolored and chipped. The employees refused to believe this wasn’t how they looked when I dropped it off. I pulled out a button from my purse which had fallen off about a week prior to taking it to the cleaners, which still looked pristine and new. I held the button up for comparison and they still denied they did anything wrong. I now have to go and buy all new buttons to replace them. Not only did they ruin the buttons but there was a large area that obviously had not been cleaned, as there was still traveling remnants chunked onto the hemline. When I pointed it out, the guy just tore it off the hanger and said«I’ll get that off» and just ran it under water and scrubbed it. So much for DRY cleaning. So, if I pointed out that area when I dropped it off and it’s still dirty, I’m wondering how clean the rest of my clothes are. Even after everything, I was forced to pay full price. I was furious — I plan on going back this evening once I calm down some to speak with a manager. I will repost later.

This is our neighborhood cleaners. They generally do a nice job, and we’ve used them for over ten years.(They seem to finally know us now by name.) They get my shirts and suits right consistently and always have them ready on time. My only complaint is with buttons. It practically takes an Act of Congress to get them to replace shirt buttons that they break or come off on their own. But overall, they are about as good as you can find in 21st Century America.

I came here bc it was the closest cleaners to my place and to inquire about their alteration prices. I was shocked when they said 25 on a very easy hem job!. Other places charge me 10 –15 but this place charges 25. Rip offs. The staff is very snobby as well.

We have had several problems over the years, and the most recent damaged shirt — denial without compensation — is the last straw. We have had one lost shirt, two physically damaged/torn, one came back with a stain they could not fix, others have come back with starch drips, and not to mention the numerous damaged, cracked, destroyed buttons. We are not going back despite the convenient location, so not sure where yet. If we could rate a zero we would.

Terrible customer service. Took my daughters silk blouse in to remove a stain. Got it back with numerous new stains. After several attempts to remove the new stains on their part, all to no avail, the owner then denied the existence of the new stains and started yelling at me. When I asked for an analysis of the new stains, she accused me of trying to extort money. Her interrupting me and yelling was while customers were streaming in and out. No one deserves this abusive service, and unless you are willing to have them ruin your clothes, stay away.

I’ve never had a problem with them not cleaning a garment fully or loosing clothing like some other places. I live in Belle View and like that I can walk over there and drop off or pick up… also they’re open till 7 p.m. which is nice.

Do a better job on suits than anywhere else. Can drop off and pick up in the same day — much faster than other cleaners. As good as it gets.
