My brother and I went there for a few drinks on a Friday night, we sat at the bar and ordered a calamari and seared tuna which were very tasty. The reason a gave this place a two star is because the customer service is pathetic. As a person that is in the industry it truly bothers me to see the lack of attention to detail by management and staff. My brother and I had one drink each which it became the first and only drink that was offered to us all night. Out of the three bartenders on duty not one came to ask if we needed water or another alcoholic beverage. All three of the bartenders were constantly talking to each other about I know what. Looking at the other people at the bar also noticed that people were unattended and with glasses empty. What a shame for such a nice place.

We went to the Vintage for a business dinner event with about 10 others. I give this a 3 star rating mainly for the food. Our server was excellent and she took very good care of our group. On to the food. The food was good, however for the prices and image they are trying to portray, it just doesn’t match. I had a small Ceaser salad and was surprised at the presentation and dressing. The dressing tasted like food service dressing rather than from scratch. It was tossed but with too much dressing. Normally you put shaved parmesan cheese on the top and lay the anchovie over it. However this had the cheese incorporated in the dressing and the anchovie buried in salad. I ordered the short ribs and it was good. There wasn’t much in the way of demi-glacé on the plate, however the ribs went well with the big, grilled green chile on the plate. My girlfriend had the sea bass which she raved over for flavor. The décor didn’t really match the name. It wasn’t vintage, but a real modern look. Maybe vintage for 20 years into the future? In summary, great server, average food and décor that doesn’t match the name equals 3 stars.

This restaurant is gorgeous. Really visually stunning. I’ve been here twice, once on a weekend for cocktails and once on a weekday for lunch. Two completely different experiences. The weekend experience was crowded and overtly hip, so my 43 year old husband and I felt a little out of place. The drinks were $ 10 – 11 ea and we ordered chips/dip that was in the $ 10 range as well. Loud and tough to enjoy a conversation. It was that kind of place. The lunch experience couldn’t have been more different. There were three tables filled, which gave us a quiet, posh experience and a good opportunity to really enjoy the investment in the interior design. Very comfortable booths. The staff are all well trained and focused on your requests. We had bacon wrapped quail and calamari to start and both were flawless. Really yummy. We had sea bass on polenta as the entrée and it was AMAZING. Really tender and juicy. The chef could do no wrong on the day we visited. So, my advice is that you need to pick your times carefully. If you want a pick-up joint, try the weekend evening times at the bar. If you want a quiet elegant meal in a lovely environment, try weekday lunches or dinners.

This place has a good atmosphere but everything else is pretty bland. The service, the variety of food, the quality. It’s right near my house and I’d hoped it would be magnificent. After multiple visits and giving it chance after chance, I just can’t recommend it. Prices are too high for the quality.

Had my fist dining experience at Vintage yesterday and it did not dissapoint overall. Walking into the restaurant I was immediately impressed with the upscale design. Although we came in during their brunch specials(which looked quite delicious) we opted for something off their regular menu. We started with the chicken satay appetizer(chicken skewer with a peanut sauce). The appetizer was perfectly grilled and tender but the peanut sauce was slightly too string for my preference. After a few minuted I decided to start my day off right with their 14oz rib eye. The steak came out cooked to perfect temperature and great plate presentation. The steak was super tender and flavorful. Partnered with grilled asparagus and mashed potatoes it was an entrée to desire in the future. We also shared a wedge salad that was worth ordering again and very generous on portioning. All in all we will be back again to try their full dinner menu and quite possibly drinks.

I’m not sure how to feel about this restaurant, they want be to one of big boys but they don’t have much to offer. Well, there are a few reasons for that. 1. You can’t be a steakhouse if you only have one steak related dish to offer on your entire menu. 2. When you charged me more than $ 10 for a burger, it better be good and sadly it was not, it lacked of flavour and it left much to be desired. 3. What is your signature dish? When I think of vintage 423, I can’t think of anything else but an expensive place with plain tasting dishes. 4. You can’t be that lazy and not separate the lunch and dinner menu! It’s surreal. It tells the customers oh well I’m too lazy to put in the effort to create a different menu for you but I’m gonna charge an arm and a leg anyways. I love the bar area though! It was fun and the drinks were fantastic. You could sit outside during the summer months and I loved it when I was able to sit out there with my peeps. When I left the restaurant I wonder why did I pay that much for something I did not thoroughly enjoy?!

It was just okay. Brunch was $ 46 for two and I’d probably opt for a different place next time. The food was just so-so. I had the vintage burger which was way undercooked(I ordered medium). My buddy had fish tacos & said they had very little fish and far too much sour cream. I think the atmosphere is pretty nice so I’d go back for drinks but skip the meal. The service was decent although the waiter got my order wrong. There are better options for brunch in my humble opinion.

Stopped in for Sunday lunch and had the bloody mary bar. This is just fun for a change of pace. Selection of goodies on the bar is quite ample. Lunch options are very reasonable considering that Vintage is a bit on the upscale side. Haved always had excellent food here.

Its not my first time to this restaurant however offer it is my first time going during lunch time and eating food. We were greeted by the hostess and escorted to our table she was wonderful. However the waiter he had a terrible attitude for some reason unsure why. He kept rolling his eyes and every time a question was asked. My sister’s and I felt unwelcome to the point we didn’t even finish our food we just wanted to go. The food we order was lamb gyro with greek salad all I have to say about the dish is that it wasn’t my favorite and very bland.

Yeah, this place can be a little pricey — but hey, the service seems incredible, the food is delicious, and the drinks??? WOWZA! My recommendation is the Astin Martin, sure it is $ 10, but it is oh-so-deliciouso! I have also ordered off their Lounge Menu and had delicious Shrimp Cocktail, Tomato Bruschetta, and Hummus. I like to sit in their outdoor seating in the beautiful New Mexico sun!

My former ABQ supervisor and his wife told me they were going to treat me to lunch at a place called Vintage 423. Swanky-ish wine bar at noon on a Monday? Alright, totally not what I was expecting from this dude but GREAT! Beautiful décor and quiet atmosphere aside, this place has excellent customer service and food. Our server was attentive while still being mindful of our space and conversation, a balance not many can achieve. Wish I remembered this gals name! I ordered the Apple and Pear Gorgonzola Salad with Chicken. Oh so good. Nice variations of sweet, savory and crunchy throughout. It was the perfect portion for me — I didn’t even finish it all. Although if you’re a heartier eater, you can order a double of this salad according to someone at the office. Haven’t been back in 7 months; however, I absolutely intend to meet some of our customers here next trip out. The food is great, and the atmosphere/volume level lends to getting business done. Well done!

When I first moved here last September I loved this place. Their food was awesome, drinks were tasty and the ambiance is great. Fast forward to now and this play has just gone downhill. First off our waitress seem a little scatter brained but she was nice so let it slide. The menu is just so simple nothing seems really good. I don’t see why they don’t just offer the sandwiches from lunch for dinner? Fine I let it go. My boyfriend order an Ashton Martin which is tasty but it wasn’t even topped off. About ¼ of the glass was empty! Are you kidding me? If the drink is $ 10 at least decently fill the damn thing. I order a GT which was good but again 2⁄3 of the cup was ice. The food was meh ok. Had a shrimp Caesar salad and the boyfriend a short rib. Which were all ok. The grand total was $ 97! Which was crazy ridiculous for two people and I had a salad! Overall it left a very sour taste in my mouth. I’m not a cheapskate who can’t pay a lot for a dinner. But this food was just not worth it. Will never be coming back.

When we entered the lady up front asked«what are you here for.» Almost like the cashier at the clothing store addressed the hooker on pretty woman. Which started me out sour. I shook my head and said«to eat» in a way that told her she’s posed the dumbest question a hostess at a restaurant could. She tried to make up for it and was extra friendly. Our waitress was worse. I felt like I was being talked down to or she assumed we weren’t good enough. it was bizarre. Which ticked me off like no other, to have some college kid act like she’s better… while failing to get our drinks. Seriousley? Now my husband and I were just out of work, him still in a tie, I still in a jacket… we live very comfortable and look it. If they treated us that way, don’t you dare go in wearing a Polo shirt. Haha The menu Green Chile… I don’t care what kind of fusion twist you do trying to make it it gormet. It’s not. Its a fact that every new mexicans mom makes the best green Chile stew. So to charge 12 for a bowl is… frankly, feels like you assume the customer is stupid enough to fall for it. Your not kidding anyone, it’s the same ingredients mom gets at walmart. The restaurant was empty and the waitress still forgot about us. Which was fine, because nothing on the menu struck me as gourmet, but average with a big price. We walked out… and had an even pricier meal at Vernons. They never fail.

Everything was great! Our server was amazing. My only«complaint» is they were out of two of the three dessert wines, and it took quite awhile to let me know this after I had ordered.

This review makes me very sad. We came a couple of months ago and loved every single second we were there. From the appetizers to the drinks, the salad and entrees, even the cold crème brûlée was magnificent. Service was OUTSTANDING, and we didn’t flinch at the near $ 200 bill. So we were a bit hungry around 3:15 today and thought we would try out happy hour at Vintage. I called to verify when happy hour was. I was told it had just started and lasted until 6. So off we go. We did question if we were dressed ok, as we were both in jeans, but semi nice shirts. Why not? It’s happy hour, not dinner. We sat at the bar and were promptly and graciously greeted by the bartender who gave us a menu. I had to ask for the happy hour menu. Kettel One Vodka cocktails for $ 6 and Kettel One Martinis for $ 8…we made the right choice! We ordered an $ 11 Albuquerque Turkey sandwich w sweet potato fries and hummus. One Kettel One Martini and I specifically said a happy hour Kettel One cocktail Salty Dog please. Everything was delicious, except for the regular fries we got. We asked for the sweet potato fries we ordered. She apologized, took back the fries and we waited. Mind you she got a little busy, but after close to 15 minutes we were done with our sandwich and the Chef brought out our now near cold sweet potato fries. Service got SOSLOW! Again, she got busy, but man, get her some help and get me another $ 6 Kettel One cocktail! And another martini or two please, those were delicious! Looking at our check in the glass I noticed we were charged $ 10 for one cocktail, $ 10 for a martini, then $ 8 for a cocktail and $ 8 for a martini. Finally finishing our drinks, we were there for close to two hours, not because we enjoyed hanging out, although we did, but it took that long to get anything. I was able to grab the bartender’s attention to inquire if we were charged happy hour prices. She informed me that because the juice in my drink came out of a can there was an up charge of $ 2 per juice, and that one of the martinis was not ordered during happy hour so we did not get a discounted price. WEIRD! When I called, 6 miles away, I was told happy hour had already started! And $ 2 for 2 ounces of cranberry juice, and another $ 2 for grapefruit juice??? Why the heck didn’t you tell me? What the heck do you consider a cocktail? Why doesn’t the happy hour menu say a shot of Kettel One $ 6??? Does the extra $ 8 really bother me that much? I mean our happy hour snack and drinks was $ 78…what difference does $ 8 make? I’m just bugged that I paid that much for a splash of juice, and obviously my idea of a cocktail is no where close to what it actually is. Everything tasted great. Service the complete opposite. What kind of juice was in those anyways??? I guess in order to have good service casual dress is not recommended. As everyone else around was dresses as I’d they just got off work and were serviced much better than we were. Just because we are wearing jeans does not mean that we can’t afford to eat here. I would have rated 5 stars our first visit and only 1 today, so I’ll make it an even 3. We should have gone to Chilli’s.

You’ll be paying for the ambiance. My husband and I were looking forward to trying out this place. We made reservations a few weeks prior to our anniversary dinner in which I specifically asked for a quiet booth. When we arrived and were seated, the hostess sat us at a table in between two booths. I let her know that about our requests. She then had to get the«okay» to seat us at a booth(so much for making requests and reserving a place). Now onto the food — the appetizers were pretty good. My husband and I both had the lobster bisque which was really yummy. We also ordered the caesar salad which was pretty ordinary. For our entrees, I had the 9 oz. filet(well done). I’ve ordered filets well done at other restaurants such as Restaurant Antiquity and the meat stays quite tender. This one was very salty and rubbery. For $ 39, it should have been extraordinary. My husband ordered the Chicken Cordon Blue. It was plated nicely but quite small and bland. On the bright side, their signature drink(Aston Martin) was yummy. The deserts were pretty good. The waiter was nervous but extremely nice which is why my husband tipped him 25%. Overall, my husband and I agreed we would not return for dinner but would consider returning for happy hour since the appetizers were pretty good and so were the drinks. The atmosphere is nice, trendy, and romantic but the food just does not live up to what you would expect from a restaurant that markets itself as «high quality».

I was introduced to Vintage 423 by a business associate. We stopped in for a quick dinner before a conference the next day. We sat in the bar area for dinner, but service didn’t suffer… it was plenty attentive. I had a small filet with asparagus. The quality of the meat was very good and it was prepared to the correct temperature. The quality of the sides was also good. The prices are a bit on the high side but not too far out of line. The setting and décor were pretty nice… better than you expect for a strip mall location(although it was a pretty nice strip mall, not one of those tacky ones). My review on this occasion will be pretty limited, since it was such a quick stop. I’ll do a more in depth review when I return(which I will definitely do). Overall, a favorable dining experience.

I have been to Vintage twice. The first time was an early dinner for steak and wine. It was just okay. Pricey– 2 people, steaks, wine, $ 135.00 with tip. The asparagus that came with our flavorless steak was still cold in spots. The second time was a Saturday dinner. A big group and some sassy dresses. I had scallops and two vodka and pineapple drinks. No salad or appetizer. My tab was $ 74.00 with tip. For ONE person. My take– Vintage has nice décor and a swanky feel. But the food is not that good considering the price point. At the evening dinner we were snapping photos and more than once a waiter attempted to photo bomb our picture. Seriously– photobomb when my meal is upward of $ 80 and not that impressive culinary wise. Save the sophomoric behavior. Stop the photobombing. I am thinking this may be an okay spot for a happy hour. But don’t go hungry, unless you want to pay high prices for food that is just– eh.

Very tasty. Came in on a Monday, but wasn’t told about the half price bottle of wine till we got our bill… after we already purchased two glasses of wine, which was the price of the bottle we were thinking of getting. Oh well. The service was good, especially since it was pretty empty, however I feel that it was a little too informal of service. I thought it should be a little more professional. But I can get over that. The mussels were amazing. The heirloom tomato salad was very flavorful, I enjoyed the feta and arugula, the slices of tomatoes were huge, the pita on the side seemed unnecessary and it was a $ 14 salad. The jumbo crab and corn chowder was THEBEST. Must have! Was too full to have dessert, but would have gotten the key lime pie. Will return for happy hour. Loved the vibe in here, the bar looked like a cool place to hang and really enjoyed the swanky feel of the place.
