Very fun place to have lunch. I always have a lunch break here when I’m Spending a day at the clay studio. I love the the sandwiches and the bread. It’s always hopping busy. I guess it was a Breaking Bad hot spot.

Love this place. It is so fresh, so delicious and a wonderful atmosphere. I always get the smoked salmon and hubby gets the croque Madame. Today he got the Italian sandwich and loved it! Very good meat. The homemade English muffins can not be beat. I do not mind the prices here, because it is definitely worth it. Free coffee refills never hurt either.

I thought this was a bit overpriced for a tuna sandwich. Went on a Sunday at 2pm. The place was packed but we still found seating. You order and they bring the food to your table. My friend liked his vegetarian kale sandwich but I thought my tuna was pretty bland. For $ 14 for a sandwich and glass of tea with no refills I expected more. The fruit cup was minuscule. I doubt I will go back here again. If I am going to spend that much on food i want a more laid back environment I can sit and veg for a while. And maybe table service with drink refills.

We came here for breakfast. The poached eggs were great, croque madame was excellent. My Americano was the best I’ve had, not weak or bitter. You have to try the pancakes(which are more like crepes than pancakes) even if it’s just to add one to share when you order, which is what we did.

Amazing Food. Check. Fresh Ingredients. Check. Succulent Cupcakes. Check. Fabulous Coffee. Check. Breaking Bad. Check. Dog Friendly. Check. There is nothing I can say about The Grove that has not already been mentioned. Thanks for stealing my thunder, everyone.

Great lunch spot. Tasty salad and soup selection. And great coffee and teas! Order some stevia for your tea to feel like you’re in breaking bad since it is one of the filming locations of the show.

I really appreciate the focus towards sourcing restaurant ingredients from local suppliers. The atmosphere is bright and clean but the overall flavor of the breakfast items were lacking or off putting. However, if you like a sweeter or grain filled breakfast and love Intellegensia(sp) coffee then this is a great low key breakfast spot perfect for a meeting or to impress localvores. Prepare to spend at least $ 15 on a plate to fill up.

I could not get enough of The Grove. I was in town for a quick business trip and told this was a must. My colleague and I went there for brunch and I ordered granola with fruit and yogurt and an Americano. They coffee was perfectly made and not bitter, while my parfait was light and fresh. The ambiance is wonderful and the service was excellent!

This review is going to be all over the place. First of all, I LOVETHEIRVEGGIESANDWICH! Roasted yellow peppers, tomato, green, english cucumber, avocado & havarti cheese on olive bread($ 11)… holy moly! Best veggie sandwich in ABQ. Their Chopped Salad($ 13) & Farmers Salad($ 12) are also good and fresh. I’ve had a few breakfast items($ 7-$ 14) that were not memorable. Now to the bad… THESERVICEISAWFUL. Some order-takers are ok, but for the most part they’re too important to be bothered. Forget about a refill or a box. I’ve literally stood at the front area every single time and have yet to be acknowledged… even when I’ve been like«Excuse me! Excuse me! Excuse me?» I’ve gone behind the counter more times than I’d like to admit to get my own box, and I’ve NEVER actually gotten a refill on coffee or iced tea, despite wanting one. They have workers servicing the patio but they will not make eye contact. They’ll seat you at a table with dirty dishes and walk away. I’m absolutely floored by this EVERYSINGLETIME.

The Grove Café and Market is a great place for lunch! Very fresh produce and everything was full of flavor. The ham and cheese sandwich with a kale side salad was perfect for lunch. The roll with the sandwich was delicious! Soft, flavorful and airy. The hint of mustard was perfect to my palate. The vegetarian sandwich was good but I was wanting a little more flavor. Definitely stop by The Grove for lunch it has a wonderful atmosphere and patio section.

Had a chance to check out the Grove for breakfast and followed Unilocaler advice and chose the amazing croque madam. Thank you Unilocalers for always having my back! It was amazing. It was different than the traditional sandwich with ham and cheese and a fried egg on top than I’m familiar with, but it’s a lovely update served with tomatoes and a spicy grain mustard. I’m not sure it’s any healthier for you as it’s a giant portion and they don’t skimp on the good stuff! The sandwich feels fresh and tastes delicious! I am kind of a stickler about eggs and the Grove gets a double thumbs up from me, the fried egg was perfect, the white was set and the deep yellow yolk just burst with runny goodness all over that sandwich when I dug in. What is it about an egg that just creates the most gorgeous amazing sauce… mmmmmmmm We ate inside as the Albuquerque wind was roaring. They do have super patio with downtown views. The only *small criticism I’d offer the Grove is the level of noise inside. Wow, we had to yell at each other to be heard and the place was only ¾ full, the sound just reverberates off the windows and takes the whole experience down a notch. I would have loved to sit and chat with my friend, and enjoyed a coffee and sweet treat… but it was so loud I started to get a headache. If you go to the Grove only go when the weather allows for outdoor seating. 4 Stars! I’ll return.

Oh my Gawd! Thank you Unilocal for guiding me to this place of business! We walked at least six and a half blocks today because I wanted to have a decent salad for lunch and some fresh fruit. Well I wanted to scream at the top of my lungs that this place delivered and more!!! When we got here this restaurant was hopping cray cray!!! You have to order up at the counter whether it is to go or to eat there at the restaurant. You have the option to eat inside or outside. Of course we ate outside but it was our only choice at the time! While you’re waiting in line to order there’s a huge table of tasty treats beside you! Because it’s the month of October and Halloween is near there were some chocolate ghosts, goblins and owls!!! Also while you’re waiting they have the most enticing cupcakes, macarons and breads in the dessert case but I stayed good as I’ve been eating crap all along!!! Their menu is posted on the chalkboard above the area of where they prepare your food. There are lists of salads, soups, sandwiches, breakfasts and coffee & tea. My HB pointed out that they do serve breakfast all day long!!! My hubby had the farmers salad that consisted of the mixed greens with roasted yellow beets, tomatoes, pepper, asparagus, marcona almonds, goat cheese with a lemon base vinaigrette. My husband did enjoy his salad! My chopped salad had my favorite romaine lettuce with bits of bacon, Pt Reyes blue cheese, chopped turkey, tomato, pieces of avocado and sliced hard boiled egg on top with ranch dressing on the side. That salad was the best salad I’ve ever had in my lifetime!!! Yes believe it! Btw we also had small roll each to go with our salad! I don’t know about you but I truly understand the reason for the madness meaning why this restaurant is ever so popular. And why you should be frequenting it as It is an amazing place! I had to use the ladies room in the back and saw on the wall that this restaurant had won best restaurant in 2014 for best brunch and also for best pancakes! Like I said earlier thank God for Unilocal’s reviews because it truly guided me to the right restaurant today!!!

Amazing environment and great food. I was a little nervous going for a friends birthday brunch on a Saturday at 11am but there were definitely enough seating for the 12 of us that came. We just had to ask one of the kind workers to help us and they got us a table right away. The grove is definitely pricey but it is a higher quality of food. The coffee was not amazing but it was decent, it is inconvenient to refill your coffee at the front counter and put cream and sugar off to the side then take the coffee back to the table. Parking was also difficult. Half of our party had to park across central which is a very busy street and there was not a cross walk. The patio was really nice and the food was good. It’s definitely worth a try.

Long lines and limited seating are worth the wait at this local favorite. The Grove Café & Market is a favorite lunch spot here in Albuquerque and for good reason. The food is fresh and delicious, the ambiance is kind of like an open market or café in a larger city, albeit inside. Come here for the sandwiches made with fresh bread, the soups with home made broth or the devilishly delicious desserts, but whatever you come for, enjoy!

We love this place. We stop twice a year on our cross country trek. It’s soooo good. The food is fresh local and delicious! Their poached eggs are great for breakfast and for lunch you have to have the cool veggie sandwich! It’s Incredible. They had fresh squeezed thyme lemonade today and I must say it was a real treat! the atmosphere is really cute, super casual but trendy. Most importantly the food is organic and the presentation is perfect, better yet it tastes delicious! You can’t go wrong at the grove. And if your a breaking bad fan, they filmed here :) Order first and then grab a table to enjoy your scrumptious meal! Service here is great. Everyone working is friendly and helpful. Josh is the sweetest. He checked us out! Very personable! That’s a great extra touch for an early morning, «pre-coffee» If you haven’t been get your heinie in here soon! It’s awesome.

This place is 5 stars all the way around. They have phenomenal food, nice atmosphere and great employees. They have sweet treat’s on the weekend’s like macaroons. They have cupcakes and cookies during the week. You have the choice to sit inside or outside on the patio. We like to order the farmers salad with almonds and beets. Always hit’s the spot and clean eating. The smoked salmon is also a top favorite! It comes on a house made english muffin. So Good! They offer treats to purchase that are local. Chocolates, candies and jams. This place is the place to go when you want a good relaxing meal. They have their own parking lot which can fill quick. That leaves for street parking or parking in the lot across the street. The lines can be very long sometimes but they go fast. It is worth the small wait!

Every time I come here i don’t want to leave! Menu and the food are not the norm and the service is out of this world ! My favorite item for lunch is three cheese sandwich with green chili and breakfast is poached eggs with black forest ham. The cappuccino is just delightfu. Free refills after on drip when you’re done with your cap. If I could I would stay here for hours. The desserts are always fresh not to sweet just right… I never see a dirty table and I’m a regular. Come see for yourself and remember it’s kinda a yuppie place but I’m not and I still love this place Jr.
