This store is owned by a Japanese. The price is very reasonable nowadays. 6.95 a ramen, what can you complain? The noodle is fine. Not sure whether it’s my order(very rich pork bone flavor) or they put too much salt it made me kind thirsty. However the pork definitely tastes nice and tender. Next time gonna try something difference.

Delicious and reasonable priced ramen shop. I have only been and eaten here once but I can say that I will come back. The food tastes good and the restaurant looks clean. Limited seating though so it can be crowded when it is busy. I hope that the restaurant will train their staff a bit more. I had to wait for a bit to be seated even though the place was not busy. The atmosphere was calm and quiet.

Delicious! It was very good, and for a better price, it is exactly what you get next door… Plus a few extras. There spices they make are delicious… I think I liked the green one made from jalapeños more than the red, but it was still good! We will be back soon.

The best legit Japanese ramen in Albuquerque and doesn’t help because if you go to school at UNM. It’s very tempting to walk across the street and get a bowl of ramen! Haha It maybe a small place to serve ramen but that’s how ramen places usually are. Very cozy, intimate, and makes a good place for a first date! ;) Can’t get over how good the ramen is, the broth, noodles, extras, and oh so much you can eat! Get the kimchi fried rice along with the warm sake. Sake, spicy kimchi, and ramen go well together! The owners, waiters, and waitresses are the nicest and attentive people to make sure you are happy and satisfied with their food. They have the cutest ramen menus with English and Japanese. Don’t believe the other ramen places has a menu like that! Making it more unique with their interior. Honestly it doesn’t feel like you’re in Albuquerque. Feels like you’re in downtown LA or NYC due to the capacity & layout of the restaurant. Very satisfying, worth the wait, and yes you will be coming back to try something different each time. Another cool bonus tip is if you do carry your phone charger there are plug-in outlets underneath the tables against the wall. To charge your phone because it’s obvious when you’re in Nob Hill nightlife. You’re more likely to make pictures, selfies, and snapchats to remember the fun embarrassing night. :)

My meal was a few steps away from being great. I had the vegetable ramen, and the noodles and the selection of vegetables were excellent. Unfortunately the broth was oily and tasted like almost completed free of salt. With salt, the broth could have been savory, instead it tasted greasy. Also, some of the vegetables were undercooked, particularly the cabbage stems which were unpleasant to chew. Lastly, I love bok choy, but they draped an entire uncut bok choy over my dish as decoration. I wanted to eat that thing but it was impossible without a knife. I hope they get better, because there are some great elements.

Location is great, interior design Is awesome, I think the music should be classic Japanese ambience music, I was really looking forward to eating here. It’s disappointing that the food DOESNOT live up to the name. I’m a big fan of ramen, Breaking it down. Extra toppings are way over priced, noodles were slightly under cooked, not enough seafood, and shrimp, clams and squid were over cooked and had no flavor. I also think that it’s upsetting that you have to pay for extra spice for your food. All in all, 3 stars, they just need to improve the flavor of the food. Good luck people of naruto!

The tonkatsu broth is amazingly rich and creamy without being too salty. While there are good noodles, and yummy toppings included, the broth is the star! Drink it up!!!

Best and most authentic ramen in town. ABQISSOLUCKY to have this restaurant. Real Japanese flavors, real noodles… Comparable to ramen you might find in LA or NYC. Don’t be fooled by the ramen place next door— Naruto is the real deal. Hands down.

Wow wow wow wow wow. A real ramen bar, and real rich broth. I think this is the best Ramen place we’ve been to in quite a while. Simple menu, done very well.

I visited today and it was tasty. The service was great, the selection decent and the prices were very reasonable. I tried the shoyu ramen, the gyoza and the green tea. They were all excellent. The restaurant setting was tranquil and relaxing, the bathroom was immaculate. The only thing I would have liked was tofu as an add-in option for the ramen. Otherwise it’s a yummy place!

The best ramen place here in ABQ! Everything is perfect — from the interior to the food. I got the miso ramen & I wasn’t at all disappointed. The noodles aren’t too hard & the meat literally melts in your mouth. Also, getting a side of kimchi to go w/your ramen isn’t a bad idea at all! I would definitely come back whenever I get the chance to do so!

Had an amazing time here. I had their vegetable ramen and their beef ramen and both were astonishing. The portions are huge and it’s a decent price. I like it because I am usually in the university area and I always need good food for a good price. Naruto was delicious. One thing I will say is some of the employees have broken English so if you are hard of hearing then this might not be the place for you. However, the food was amazing and the staff was very nice. They seemed to really care. I saw the restaurant interior in passing and just had to go. The décor is very nice and feels authentic. I love this restaurant and plan on going again with my friends as soon as I can.

Had the tonkatsu super rich broth. The broth was AMAZING. It was rich without it being just salt. I definitely can taste and feel the bone marrow from the pork bones in the mouth. I had it take out, so the noodles were a little overcooked and clumped together. However, I feel like if I was eating it in the restaurant, it would be perfect. Ingredients in it were average. Egg was little more cooked than I liked it. The other ingredients were average/normal. Definitely would go back just because of the broth.

If you haven’t experienced the newest restaurant in the University District on Central Avenue, you have to try it! It is NARUTO’S. Their main feature is Japanese Ramen Noodle Bowls! The BESTEVER! My husband and I have had Ramen Noodle Bowls in the Los Angeles area and Las Vegas, NV area, and this is hands down the very best we have ever had!!! The portions are very generous. Naurtos opened about 1 month ago on December 10, 2016, we have been back now 5 times! We have tried something different each and every time we have visited the restaurant and each time it never disappoints! We have invited some of our friends and family to go along and they agree, that this restaurant is a winner! Albuquerque has a gem in this dining spot! Try it! You will like it!!! I give it 5 Stars!

Love this place! The ramen is delicious and customizable, and the atmosphere is really tranquil and classy. I really liked how spacious it was and how we weren’t smooshed too close to other customers. The service was great and our food came out super fast. The restaurant was so peaceful and you didn’t feel rushed. The one thing I don’t always like about ORamen(next-door) is how quickly they want to flip tables and get customers in and out. They’re both great ramen places, but I definitely prefer the calmer and more relaxed setting of Naruto. I also loved how flavorful our ramens were. Instead of trying to figure out how our two different ramens were actually different, we were admiring how distinct and unique the flavors were. I will definitely be coming back again.

Definitely a favorite! Loved the Nigori sake and the vegetable Ramen. The fresh quality condiments were the perfect addition. If you’ve ever lived in Japan and looking for an authentic ramen house– this is it!

If my favorites Totto and Ippudo Ramen shops in NYC won’t open branches here(both are exemplary paragons of ramen shops), Naruto is the next best thing … 4 days into their opening, I chanced upon it intending to go to O-Ramen next door. The interior is nicely feng-shui’d and peaceful in wood and tile and dim lighting and cool holiday music. Service is attentive(waiter asked me when might I want the extra noodles — O-ramen shop, take heed, as you forgot to deliver last time — and the answer is: in exactly 5 minutes as I slurped the tail end of the regular bowl) –good hot dashi on my miso ramen –perfectly al dente noodles –nice balance of fat/meat on my chashu –the hard boiled egg had still a relleno center(gooey!) –I hope they will strive to keep this all around quality in service and food in the years to come! Naruto is a welcome addition to Duke city’s food scene. Best to come here after re-watching ‘TAMPOPO’ –I shall return to test the other bowls…

The atmosphere was very chic and welcoming with an open concept design for the kitchen. I enjoyed tonkatsu ramen and my dining partner had shoyu ramen and then we shared a bowl of miso ramen. All of the ramen was tasty and very satisfying. Very reasonably priced as well for a decent sized bowl of ramen. We also shared an appetizer of gyoza, which was good.

O-heck Yeah! This is everything I hoped it would be. Stopped in after seeing a review here(when this was added here I feared it was a address error, or a name change for a nearby ramen place) But no its its own thing, My dad and I tried them out, I got the Tonkotsu Ramen(regular), My dad got the Miso Ramen, we both sampled a spoonful of the broth of each, Mine was very tasty, it was subtle the thick broth was really something, plenty of pork flavor, but not overly salty and had a lot of depth, and got a little stronger towards the bottom of the bowl. The noodles in both were great, they had a nice almost al dente stiffness(almost a bounciness) to them but when in the mouth they were not hard to chew, and tasted great! hands down the best noodles i’ve had at any of our town’s 3 other Ramen places. The Miso Broth was also good, stronger bite, and saltiness, but not overpowering. Both of our ramens had a egg soft boiled and chilled, and then split, i was amazed by mine, it looked like the yoke may be hard boiled. but in my mouth the yoke had a creamy custard like consistency and no sulphur taste,(im not a big fan of boiled eggs, but these were fantastic!), mine also had pork cutlets, that were so tender some of them fell apart when i picked them up with my chopsticks. The hot tea, was also excellent, i think they checked on it and warmed up the pot 5 times during our meal. it was a simple green loose tea in a strainer basket in a nice pot, and nearly coffee mug sized japanese handle less tea cups. but the green tea had a great early season almost sweetness to its aftertaste, a sort of malty grain scent, and a finish of vanilla.(ive bought green tea with similar notes, but this one was one of the best green teas ive had.) We have only been there once, so its a chance it was a fluke, but, i don’t think so, I will definitely be going back. and while i don’t know if this town is big enough for 2 ramen places 2 doors apart, i do sincerely hope if there can be Only One, that its this one!
