This place is great! They have several fresh roasted coffees and a huge selection of teas.

Not a coffee shop. They sell loose tea and are a coffee roaster. They also sell a lot of goodies for making and drinking coffee and tea. My sister and I were in vacation staying at a rental house with our family of 7. We walked in sort of confused since we were in search of a latte, but they were super nice and helped us find something we could take home. The coffee was a hit for the rest of the week. I plan to go back and buy more to take home!

We live just around the corner from Moons Coffee & Tea. Honestly, if I could live there, I would. When you walk in, you’re hit with the amazing aromas of their freshly roasted coffees and the sweet and comforting smell of their teas. They have everything you could ever need for making coffee and tea and the staff is always fantastic. The owner will help you with anything you need. The prices are a little high, but when you get your products home, you’ll see very quickly how absolutely worth it they are.

Moon’s Coffee and Tea is a excellent source in Albuquerque. The store is clean, full of the beautiful paraphernalia we caffeine addicts love, and smells great when you walk in. The owner is a nice fellow, knowledgeable and courteous. He roasts inhouse and has a wide variety of beans and tea offerings, and everything I’ve tried from this store has been very good. To my mind, a selection of chocolate goods and spices might be a welcome addition. Maybe some plants and a cat. but that might be asking too much. Altogether, I plan on being a regular customer.

Hands Down, the best quality coffee in town and still better than major coffee cities like Olympia and Seattle! Always fresh and perfectly roasted!

I have been buying coffee and tea here since 1998, when I lived around the corner and they had only just opened. Now I live 30 miles away, and it’s still my go-to coffee roasting house, even after an ownership change. The coffee is roasted beautifully and in accordance with my preferences. The staff is friendly and helpful. Prices are steeper than places that don’t do their own roasting, but you get what you pay for. My favorites: Sumatra, Sulawesi, and Espresso roasts. Spousal unit loves the decaf versions of these, plus the French roast decaf. They have a lovely selection of tea and coffee paraphernalia. Bought the spousal unit an attractive tea set for Christmas here, once. I only regret that I didn’t buy the beautiful copper tea kettle they had once upon a time right before the ownership change, and haven’t had since.

Super knowledgable staff. Quality teas and coffee! Moons coffee is a good one. It’s a combination of several beans in one.

This shop is super clean and organized. You can browse the items as you make your way to order from a variety of coffee beans which are roasted locally and grinded to your liking. The staff is super nice and very knowledgeable. I got myself some Brazil organic coffee and was provided with tips on getting the best brew.

I love this place. I haven’t bought tea anywhere other than here in years. The selection of tea is overwhelming, but Moon, the owner is really great at pointing you in the right direction. This little shop is definitely one of Albuquerque’s hidden gems.

They sell my two favorite teas in Albuquerque. Queen Mary breakfast tea is the best breakfast tea I have found in Albuquerque and the Summer Breeze is our favorite iced tea. Large selection of loose tea, as well as fresh roasted coffee beans. I have found this to be the best tea store in Albuquerque for my taste

This is a very cute coffee and tea shop. Moons does not serve coffee though. You go there to buy your beans. I recommend the«European» and«African» roasts. Those are my favorites. Regarding the tea, I can tell you it is fantastic! I recommend the Tour de France tea. It has black tea, lavender, rose petals and some other delicious things I haven’t figured out yet. Also, Moons sells coffee and tea supplies, like mugs, tea kettles, coffee filters, French presses, etc

Moons coffee and tea is one of those businesses that makes Albuquerque great. I always get my whole beans from her on my way home from work. This is not a coffee shop like starbucks but instead a place to buy coffee beans, loose tea leaves, or coffee/tea supplies. Its a small place in a strip mall on Juan Tabo. Its not the place just to get a cup of coffee or some fancy late. Moon herself is usually in the store when I stop in and will make suggestions if you ask for them. All of the beans are roasted in house so you know you are getting fresh roasted beans. If you have a particular request such as a flavored coffee I suggest calling ahead of time. All of the coffee beans are good but I have some particular favorites that I always get like the French Roast and Java. I find the prices are very competitive especially considering the quality. My wife has gotten some of the teas which are really interesting. There is a huge selection of loose teas. The coffee and tea accessories are high quality and Moon can help you if you are looking for something in particular.

Had to check this place out. There aren’t too many roasters in town. It’s a cute shop. They seem to specialize in tea merch but also stock a bunch of coffee stuff. Their coffee selection is huge and fresh but tends to be dark and shiny. I find this type of bean useful when I’m feeling experimental with blends, and but straight up its a little dark for my taste. Also a little disappointed that they didn’t really serve coffee drinks and just sell beans.

The freshest, most delicious coffee, available as whole or ground beans, I have found in town. I look forward to trying the many of the teas this winter.

This is the best coffee roaster, seller and accessory shop I’ve ever found, and that includes several cities across the country. Moon’s is a coffee or tea lover’s heaven. She roasts every major coffee on earth(see the end for a list) PLUS she carries all of the best coffee and tea makers, grinders, Bodum Santos stuff(only place I’ve ever found a Bodum vacuum pot) and every tea imaginable, all loose. I actually asked her to ship me coffee when I moved to Phoenix because NOPLACE in Phoenix had loose coffee, nor her selection. I cannot recommend this wonderful place highly enough. Here’s the coffee she sells: Brazil Cerrado, Colombia Supremo, Costa Rican, Ethiopian Organic, Guatemala Antigua Organic, Jamaica Blue Mountain, Java Estate, Kenya AA+, Kona Extra Fancy, Mexico H.G., Oaxaca Organic, Panama Estate, Peru Organic, Sulawesi Estate Organic, Sumatra Estate, Tanzania Peaberry, Timor Org. Maubesse, Yemen Mocca.
