Typically, this is a clean, friendly McDonald’s. We were thrilled when they put out their breakfast all day menu. Well, we were thrilled until this happened.
Last month, my husband and I stopped in to get something to eat. I had a burger and fries while he had two breakfast burritos with a hash brown. His potatoes, he said, were «warm-​ish». This didn’t strike me as odd and we ate our lunch contentedly.
About six o’clock in the morning, I woke to my husband violently vomiting (among other things). He was in and out of bed for almost 18 hours. After many fluids and anti-​nausea medicine, he was able stop running to the bathroom. He suffered from chills, fever and stomach pains along with his frequent bathroom trips.
I, myself, have a weakened immune system and was terrified that I might get whatever he had. After two days and no symptoms, I immediately thought it was food poisoning. I contacted the city’s food safety inspector and managed to speak with their on-​site bacteria specialist. After our talk, she scheduled a food safety inspection. I’m not sure of the outcome, but the specific food poisoning he suffered from was B. cereus and is commonly found in improperly stored potatoes and other foods. Typically, it’s when a food has been cooked and then placed into a refrigerator for storage without being reheated to the proper temperature.
I’m fortunate that my fries were hot. We’re both extremely hesitant to eat there again.

Whenever I am in a rush and need that breakfast burrito McDonald’s hits the spot plus it’s so convenient to all the other services you might need in the area like food store gas and banks. I’m not advocating for fast food but when you have to go there go to this one

Wow– seriously. It’s midnight– I get to the drive thru and there are maybe 3 or 4 other cars. Ok– typical for a midnight just getting off work food run– but I sit in line after ordering for about 20 minutes; enough time to download an app on my phone, skim some music, look at Facebook before even getting to the payment window.
Finally pay and I sit for another few minutes; I figure ok– maybe they ran or of fresh fries and I get a nice hot batch… NOPE!!! get home– 1.4 miles away– and my fries are ice cold and so are the freaking chicken nuggets! !!!
Not a big fat food eater as is– but this solidified my «say no to fat kid food» approach even more.

Has anyone been reading that millennial’s have been eating at McDonald’s less and less? This location is a great example of why WE (millennial’s) are no longer eating there. Terrible customer customer service! I called just to ask a question and the employee made me feel belittled and like an annoyance. I wasn’t being a rude and didn’t understand why the employee felt the need to attack me. Please work on your customer service!

Mmm I’m lovin It! I’m probably biased here but I heart me some MickeyD’s. This location was ripped down and completely rebuilt about a year ago. It’s clean and has a play area if you need to keep the kiddos occupied while you indulge in fries and calorie packed burgers! I think you might have gained a pound or two just reading this.
