My wife and I wanted to purchase a new TV/​Sound System and decided to see what Listen Up had to offer. My career was as a musician and radio/​TV journalist, so quality was important. What a great experience. We dealt with 2 people, interestingly both named Sean and they were both knowledgeable and guided us without pushing one product or another. We returned a few times, tested various components and TV’s and settled on a system and cabinet to hold it. The price was excellent, in most cases matching internet sales prices. A crew came to my home, set up the gear and answered endless questions… even weeks after the installation.
I heartily recommend Listen Up.

We have spent about $ 10k on electronics at the ListenUp store in Albuquerque over the last 2 years: Magnepan 3.7s, Furman power filter, Samsung 8000 series TV, NAD amp, etc, etc.
The atmosphere is laid paid and there are no high pressure sales tactics used here! We have spent HOURS comparing various electronics in their showroom. They even let us bring in our PS3 to compare it to an Oppo in regards to Blu-​Ray playback. We hooked up both to the high end Sony TV they had on display and spent an hour comparing. When we were looking at TVs, we spent a few hours calibrating TVs and comparing the picture quality.
I originally bought a pair of Magnepan 1.7s and then did the trade up program to the Magnepan 3.7s. The upgrade process was simple and easy.
My experiences have been extremely positive. How many places are going to let you tinker with electronics before you buy? I highly recommend this place! We are customers for life along with numerous other people that have shopped here for years.
Be sure to ask for Mark Cleveland because he really knows AV in any configuration you want for your house or business.
