Several times I have come here and ordered and they have not had what I wanted to order. I don’t understand how this can happen more than once for the same menu item. I don’t think I will be returning to this location. Service is slow. Only 2 people running the whole place it seems like.

The meal started with a happy«welcome to Johnny Rockets». This would end up being the best part of the meal. The restaurant was freezing, uncomfortable for the guest but that is not a deal breaker. We ordered drinks and shake while we looked at the menus. The shake came shortly after ordering our meal and the fist taste revealed that it was a peanut butter shake not a chocolate shake. Tasted awful, and was not pleasant at all. After watching staff run around the restaurant for a few minutes the whole time seeming to avoid our table. Finally after a long while staring at our less than desirable shake we finally flagged down a busser and asked for our waitress. He went behind the counter and then returned telling us that our server would be right with us. After about 7 more minutes the waitress finally came to our table with the food. This the fist time she had been back after taking our order(a different waitress delivered the shake). After giving us our food we told her about the shake and she offered to have it corrected. We were happy she was going to have the shake remade and asked for mustard for our burgers. As both of us ordered cheese fries we were only given one fork for our meal, but she did bring an additional fork when we asked her for one. When the misstated arrived it was served in a paper dish but nothing to spend the mustard on our burger. We then started in to the meal. Mediocre at best, but nothing to write home about. As we ate it required napkins and the napkin dispenser on the table dispensed napkins fit a child size hands. They were the thinnest and smallest napkins ever manufactured. We went through about 20 in our meal. It was ridiculous. The manger did check on us twice and we did mention just a bit of our displeasure. She quickly apologized and left. Both times she was at the table she did not remove any empty glasses, plates or the mountain of used napkins we accumulated. In the end you can get a decent burger in May places, this not one of them. Skip this place altogether.

Came here 8÷6÷15 Thursday lunch hr and was very disappointed! I asked our server who had no name tag and later put it on when the manager showed up(our server was Candice) if I could have a high chair and she rudely informed me «they are in the back» ignored my kids and stomped off. Great. I wistfully looked at the other friendly servers and hoped we would get one of them! my BLT tasted like tuna, the kids chicken tenders were burned to the crisp, btw I love the kids happy face ketchup which she never gave! than finally when it was time to go she saunters over with her name tag now on and smiles if we were finished. really lady. Yes I know you want a tip for your crap service. But get this she walks away never to be seen again after she charges me! I was standing there with my kids waiting and waiting! finally I walked away from the register and left my receipt by the register! What a joke! Located next to the movie theater, you would think they would take care of their customers here and make good business! Such bad service here! Spend your money elsewhere for your kids lunch and yourself! not at an annoyed server, who doesn’t help or serve you at all! We love jrockets, but this one, never again!

We stopped in for a quick lunch before our movie. The place was packed but the customer service was excellent, the food was delicious, and the server’s(ours was Skylar) were cheerful and welcoming. 5 stars for johnny rockets!

From the jukebox, to the dancing, to the fact that if you ask for ketchup they draw a design for you on a plate– this place is adorable. It looks like a fifties diner and plays all oldies. It’s awesome– and right outside the theater, so it’s a nice place to grab a quick bite before or after a movie. This has to be one of my favorite chain restaurants. The service is always great here and I have been countless times with my family/friends. Seriously, some of the friendliest people I have ever had serve me. It’s adorable(even though probably embarrassing for them) that there are certain songs that they have to dance to. Even everyone in the kitchen comes out and dances. It’s a lot of fun. They have great onion rings and pretty good fries. I always get the half and half plate to start with– both fries and rings. The hamburgers are good– definitely not a bad burger. They are also quite large. The Philly cheese steak is also pretty good! Flavorful salad as well. They have tasty sweet potato fries. The only gross thing I have ever had there is no longer on the menu– or at least, I did not see it last time. They had an egg salad sandwich that was horrible. Completely bland– if it is still on the menu, avoid it at all costs. Get a shake. Whatever you do, get one of their milkshakes. I am a huge fan of the eastern Steak and Shake chain –famous for their shakes– and these rival it. They are delicious! Overall, I have never had a bad time here. It’s always been quick service, good food and a good time. The music is fantastic, the staff is friendly and the atmosphere is fun. It’s very kid friendly and they have a kid’s menu. They will give you nickels for the mini jukeboxes on the tables!

I’m a history fanatic, so getting to dine in an authentic 50’s diner is pretty cool. I love the classic diner fare(burgers, fries, and shakes) but my jaw literally dropped when I saw the prices. $ 8.99 for a burger and an additional $ 4.50 to make it a meal? Hell would literally have to freeze over before I paid $ 13.49 for a burger and fries. Taking your family out for a full dinner would do some –serious– damage to your wallet. My wife and I elected to get a side order of chili cheese fries and to split a shake. Their shakes are absolutely delicious(very frothy and creamy) and I would definitely go back for another one.

So friendly. Great tasting veggie burgers! Brings back good memories. I enjoy the waiters cute dance each half hour, too! Everyone sang happy birthday to a 10 yr. old customer today. Really clean. A little expensive, but I enjoy going there.

This use to be my favorite restaurant ever since I was a little kid and after today I would not go there ever again unless the manager hadn’t offered me a 50% off coupon. My burger had a fishy taste to it, I was informed by the manager«I can assure you, we don’t have any fish here.» Which makes it a little more worrisome. I hope Johnny rockets gets there act together because my girlfriend and I miss the old johnny rockets that we would go to a few times a month.

It’s a fun place. The theme is like«Arnolds» from Happy Days. There is a juke box in the middle of the place, along with table top music selections. The menu is basic, including sandwiches and burgers. I think the best part is the soda selection. They make old fashioned drinks with flavorings like cherry and vanilla. Although it sounds odd, the chocolate Coke is really good. The only thing keeping that fifth star from poking out is the price. Drinks are nearly four bucks, and a plate with fries and a sandwich or burger is close to ten. You are paying for the experience and atmosphere, and it is fun when the staff stops everything to do a mini performance.
