Took my MB 300SEL here, and Mickey (Shop Owner) was very on the ball with all the work needed on the car, spoke in layman’s terms to me about what he and his crew was going to do, how much it cost (and why) and got it done. I came in very nervous, got even more nervous as he looked over what was wrong… and ended up at ease and happy with the result (they fixed some car front issues and myriad fuel system snafus and a couple other sundries).
I’d recommend this place if you have a european car, for sure. I will be using Jim’s as my go-​to shop.

My ’81 911 SC broke down as soon as I stopped in Albuquerque for the night. The next day, I managed to push start it and showed up at the shop unannounced. They spent some time trying to find a starter in town and when they found the part, they fixed it while I waited! Guess I got lucky that I broke down in Albuquerque and not in the middle of nowhere :)

The entire staff aren’t only great qualified mechanics. They are gear heads!
A friend in Albuquerque has been using this shop for quite sometime. My M5 started running horribly east of Oklahoma City. Micky (Shop owner) coached me over the phone. He knew exactly what to do to get me all the way to Albuquerque, and home to the west coast.
Passing through Route 66 and have a BMW, Mercedes, Porsche, Mini, that’s air cooled, water cooled, old or new give them a shot I was impressed!
