I am usually pretty skeptical about trying hole in the wall places like these but they always tend to be the best ones to go to. I was getting my hair cut next door and it was around lunch time so thought I would stop in for a sandwich place turned out to be excellent the owner kicks up some killer fresh sandwiches I had the pork sandwich which was excellent by far the best Banh mi sandwiches in Albuquerque.

My favorite banh mi shop in Albuquerque. The bread is outstanding, soft on the inside but with a great crustiness on the outside. I always go with the #1. Flavors are spot on and not too salty like some other joints’ sandwiches. Great owner-operated spot!

I think these are the best in town. Thien stuffs more filling into bigger loaves and the fillings and bread are so clean, bright, fresh tasting and satisfying. I brought my niece here and she declared the # 1 the best sandwich she had ever eaten in her life(she is 32). The place is spotlessly clean too.

Owner/operated sandwich joint. Smells great when you walk in. Get their soon before he gets so popular that the quality starts to suffer. I went with the #1 and loved every tasty bite.

Wonderful sandwiches, «Banh mi», and super nice and cute owner/cook, born in Vietnam. He spent time with us, which soothed our road weary souls as we waited for our car to be repaired. It seemed ordained to be. Kismet!

The best Vietnamese banh mi(sandwiches) in Albuquerque! :D Don’t forget to get the refreshing iced sugar cane drink either! :) My favorite banh mi there is the grilled pork sandwich.

Maybe it’s because it’s «iKrave Café» and you may not see that little«i» in front of it and Unilocal and all other sites don’t necessarily capitalize the K in iKrave? Maybe it just needs to be Rave Café, because it’s worth raving about! Flavor. OUTSTANDING Flavor! The cracker crispness of the bread easily gives way to such a soft loveliness, which continues into the well proportioned amounts of tender meats and veg that help make it such an flavor explosion in the mouth! It’s a very very good sandwich. I got the #6, and yeah… it was worth more than every penny! Seriously, I just happened upon the place, and it blew me away!(I was intending on going to another very local restaurant in the mall area)

New best viet sandwiches in town. These sandwiches are delicious! Bright fresh veggies, creamy viet mayo, crisp warm baguette and great viet cold cuts. Could compete in California!

Had the #4 Grilled Pork sandwich, a can of Grass Jelly Drink(sounds weird but was delicious) and some sort of Seaweed Dessert all for under $ 10.00. AMAZING food! So fresh and delicious. Big fan here and will be back to work my way through the menu, Small shop, the owner is the entire work force and he is very good and what he does. Support the small local shops and lets keep him around!

This place has the best Banh Mi sandwiches I’ve ever had and I’m from California. It is small, but very inviting and cozy. The owner is very friendly, gives great customer service by greeting you when you walk in and talks to you while he’s making your order. He believes in using the freshest ingredients possible. There is also a wide variety of drinks including my favorites: pennywort and sugar cane. There’s also a wide selection of snacks in the front. He’s currently working on putting vegan banh mi options on the menu so for those that are vegan or vegetarian you’ll have somewhere to go. It’s been open for about 5 months now and I highly recommend trying this place out. You won’t be disappointed!

I had never heard of Vietnamese sandwiches until I stopped here. What a rush! These sandwiches are so good and the veggies really shine! Call ahead or plan on a slightly longer lunch. These are made to order one at a time. Worth it to me. Other ABQ ‘Namwhiches aren’t even close.
