I came in for a mani pedi but left with an acrylic set and regular pedi instead. My full set was just O. K, nothing too grande nor was there really spectacular craftsmanship. The service was friendly, but I have seen better work for a french full set for the same price else where.

Came here for a pedi and ended up getting a mani as well. I love their service here. They are very friendly and nice. Prices are not bad at all either. Hanah is my favorite. :)

Came to get my eyebrows done and looked on Unilocal for guidance. Happy to find a salon that was open until 7:30pm came @7pm and come to find out was closed. Sign clearly states open Mon-Fri 9am to 7:30 And it was a Tuesday. SMFH. Never coming back here again

I made an appointment for New Year’s Day for three of us and then called back to confirm with the owner that they would be open. Both times they said yes and confirmed my appointment. Came to al quiet air from Los Lunas and to my surprise there was a sign on the door saying they were closed.

I returned from a visit to my childhood home with a rare gift of a gel manicure and regular pedicure, about 17 days old & wished to treat myself, back in my now home state. I called, thinking I got a Santa Fe Salon, yet was in ABQ. I called back & was told to come in, as I was in ABQ. The experience was very good. The staff was helpful, warm, kind, and friendly. They answered my questions and gave me the full treatment. At least 3 women catered to me, removing my old gel(shellac) manicure, as I sat receiving my pedicure. I was offered a bells & whistles pedicure with a leg massage and more for $ 25 instead of $ 19 for the simple one. «Sure,» I agreed. In the end they gave me a lot of attention and care for reasonable rates. I loved the colors, and all the services. In fact at times I feel like I was in heaven, having so much done for me, while I merely relaxed. They gifted me the to-go-manicure flip flop shoes to allow the pedi to dry. & the cool pedicure toe depressor thingies. These did gracious help protect the pedicure. Only after I walked out the door did I notice that while the nails looked beautiful, and I liked the general shaping of them, there were a few details I felt less thrilled about. I was asked if I wanted my toenails trimmed or filed? I said«I like them short, so trimmed please!» Studying them now, I see, my left toenail is cut low on the left and high on the right. It is not symmetrical like the other. The right big toe nail is not really so much trimmed, yet is symmetrical. Oh! They don’t totally match, really. It looks like some were trimmed and others filed. So much time and care went into the massage and all the details. I am an artist, so missed details kind of stick in my craw quite a bit extra! The super lovely manicurist who manicured my nails took plenty of quick steady time and care. Yet she also took personal phone calls mid manicure, more than once! One it was mid nail, which kind of startled me. She balanced her cell phone under her chin while working on my manicure. On the positive side, there were many steps, including brushing on an iridescent orange powder. I love the shape filed into them, overall. Yet again, some are rounded & some more squared. The bummer part is that I noticed places where a portion of one toenail was not fully painted on the side edge. Oh, bummer! The nails have some similar effects… Some look straight & even to the cuticle & some more jaggedy. Some have a little bubble here & there or don’t meet the edge fully, or cleanly. I chose polish that had an extra step. So the base coat shows through a bit, at some of the awkward edges. Not used to that! So while it felt friendly, warm, efficient, and cost efficient, I left with a mixed bag of all over the board feelings. In some respects I myself do a better job. Loved all the bells and whistles, yet it felt like they had to greatly compromise the attention and care to overall detail, in trade for the other luxuries. I considered going back in and asking for the oversights to be fixed up. Yet I felt awkward, self conscious and if I started pointing out all the small stuff that was kind off off, it would have gotten kind of ridiculous. Plus they were so friendly, I would have felt like an arrogant trader, if I hassled them with the truth of how o saw them. In the light at home, I found more mistakes, already mentioned, that I frankly didn’t have the full attention to take in, right there I front of the salon! I will try the salon my friend adores in Santa Fe & see how I feel about it. I may not be a huge professional manicure candidate after all. A wonderful luxury, yet if I leave feeling critical, embarrassed, perturbed and unsatisfied, I guess my quest continues! I will enjoy it while I got it. Yet it had that awkward feeling of a haircut that will quickly grow out wrong. I’d love to file and fix & fill in all the errors. Yet I don’t feel it’s appropriate, after sinking $ 63 bucks in, to risk f ___ing it up now, especially as I live an hour away and will likely never really go back. Sometimes4 star reviews are overrated! After writing this I am also discovering that some toe nails are rounded at the edges, while others are not properly files and feel like pointy razor blade edges. So now I am even more disappointed and 3 stars is likely overly generous, considering how much work they still left for me to shoulder responsibility for… Pretty unprofessional on the whole. I would say scout around for some place with stronger reviews.

If I could give 2.5 stars, I would. The one positive thing I can say is that they are speedy which is important when you need to be at the airport 1.5 hours later. Too many things were displeasing, I had someone do my nails at the same time as my deluxe pedicure. Why is this not ideal? Because you can’t really relax and enjoy the pedicure due to trying to position yourself properly for the manicure. My gel nails looks like I could have done them myself at home. I like people to be able to tell they are professionally done. Not the case with the outcome. I was cut, it happens… Not a huge deal. The the manicurist was less than helpful with putting on my flip flops so of course my nail polish smeared. The clean up job was not impressive. Prices are fair however I was misquoted on the full price by $ 4. Again, not a huge deal but why not quote the right price to begin with? As I’m on the airport shuttle from the rental car drop off, a women was standing next to me with the cutest butterfly design on her thumb with embellished jewels added. I found myself desperately wishing I had gone to whatever establishment she went to. On the upside, the parts of the deluxe pedicure I was able to relax on where quite nice.

I’ve been coming to this place for a couple of years now. I always feel like I have brand new feet after the deluxe pedicure. They’re very friendly, but not overly talkative which I appreciate when I’m sitting in a massage chair, being pampered. They are very thorough and I always feel like I’ve gotten more than my money’s worth.

Been here a couple times and I liked it. How ever they staff aren’t too talkative. They’re nice and they do a great job but I don’t like sitting in silence for 30 – 60 minutes. BUT I do like the way my nails get done and will drive across town to go there. I went on a Monday evening and it was really busy but they did have $ 16 pedicures which is an okay deal(:

Friendly staff and good prices. This is my favorite place for pedicures, and they always make sure that you are happy with your services. They ask you questions every step of the way so they can give you exactly what you are paying for. They do get busy on Saturdays and Sundays, but you can usually get in a chair fairly quickly.

I’ve been going to this place for the past 8 yrs or so. I love the staff. My favorite is Liz. They do good work. The 2 things that keep them from getting 5 stars is when you get a pedicure they don’t use that shaver thing on your heels. Instead they use this huge electrical thing and I feel embarrassed. Haha. Also, it’s hit or miss with the eyebrow waxing. I’ve had them come out gorgeous and others they took out a patch(which I had to color in). The great thing is they parking in the back too! I can avoid the traffic in the front that way.

I’ve checked out 2 other salons(creation something and t&y i think…) to get a pedis since moving to ABQ, and this is my favorite. I will definitely be going here for now on. It’s clean, the staff is nice, and it’s cheap! $ 19 for the usual cuticle removal, legs and feet massage, and they use some sort of electric file on your feet, and massage your legs and feet. The only thing i did not like was their massage chairs. It hurts! I turned it on for like the first minute and couldn’t stand it, esp, in my lower back. ouch. anyhoo, i think i found my new place!
