I was unable to Get into my normal nail salon on a last minute booking so stopped here for an express mani pedi that took over an hour, the pedi fine but the mani is awful the polish peeled off in 24 hours and I have a horrible case of hangnails on both hands!!! Really bad cuticle cutting, never again

This is one of the worst nail salon I have ever been to in ABQ! The customer service was nice at first then we waited 2 hours to complete the service! Never again.

Overall my nails came out great. I went in for a rebase and they did a good job. Downside-long wait 20−30mins for a tech to be available. Also, they prefer cash so they have an ATM next to the register that they insist doesn’t have a fee. They do not accept credit only debit but still ‘prefer’ cash. There is even a sign at the register ‘We prefer cash or debit’

Downside: Really going down hill — I used to love this place! I was unlucky with a tech(Lynn T.) that has cut me twice as she was cutting cuticles on two different occasions on both toes and hands. It pretty much defeats the purpose of wanting a pretty set of hands if you have to wear band-aids for several days after your mani/pedi. Also — During a busy time of year, they had a college girl that used to work there she said years ago. WTH? Wouldn’t that have made her too young to then be licensed? Then her friend comes in who still has her Trader Joe’s uniform and name-tag on and they assign her a customer to do this poor customers pedicure. They charge for removal of gel polish on hands and feet — that’s bad when their prices are already high. No longer offer wine Many of their old Techs who were great have left :(to other salons Upside: it’s very clean and also much nicer interior than most places in Albuquerque. –Great TV — Good Music — minimal product fumes. –Large selection of Gel Colors –Major hidden cameras everywhere which is nice — as I personally feel safer in this place(less theft)

I went to the Louisian/Paseo del Norte location. Terrible. Looked like they worked hard to make the place look classy. The interior looks like Cesar’s Palace in Vegas BUT under the gilded interior is inferior quality & service. I tried to get my face waxed and the woman couldn’t see or didn’t know what she was doing. It was a terrible job. I left without getting a good wax and with chunks of wax on my face, jaw, pants, and sweater. Also, she repeated waxing the same areas multiple times which anyone who does waxing knows will injure the skin. I tried to stop her but she actually physically pushed me down every time I tried to sit up and explain that she might injure my skin. Also, she had me lay down on a dirty towel. I asked for a clean one and she ignored me. That is always a sign that you are in a crappy salon. Don’t be fooled by the name. It is not a spa. They still insisted on charging me full price even though the woman knew I was not satisfied. I would have still gone back to try a pedicure if they would have at least tried to correct things or offer a discount. Now, I am not interested in going back at all.

I stopped in and had a pedi 8 months ago. I was so happy with it I came back every other month. Problem: price jumped 10 bucks last few times I came in. $ 60 for a deluxe would be ok but they are rushed and you feel it even with an appt. Not happy any more. They charged me to take off the polish they put on.

I’ve gone here a few times out of convenience. I think the prices are fair and the staff is neither friendly nor unfriendly. I feel like nails salons are all the same. I’m usually in and out because I just go to get my eyebrows waxed. I like that they don’t give me super thin eyebrows and they clean them up with tweezers after waxing. The first few times I came, I was able to go back and have my eyebrows waxed immediately. One Saturday afternoon, I went and the lady working from the front station said there would be a 20 – 30 minute wait. I waved my husband off to run another errand. In the time I was waiting two customers walked out. Another customer was told there would be a wait and a customer who was leaving whispered, «more like an hour wait». My husband returned from his errand and impatiently told me we had somewhere to be, so I walked out too. I went back later that evening, I noticed the shop was already closed(according to the hours), but I popped in, and they politely gestured me in and waxed my eyebrows immediately.

I was a regular customer here but when one broke a few days after I had them done and the gel top coat started coming off I went back to get a new set as i felt if one broke, the next would follow and i wasn’t going to keep coming in every few days to get them fixed. When I went in the woman argued with me about it and then sat and talked with another client about how she knew what she was doing and that she’s been doing nails SO long that she couldn’t have screwed them up. It must be my fault. Rude and very unprofessional. That’s the last time I waste my money there.

The place is cute, they give you free bottled water while you get your services done, and those are about the only nice things I have to say. I went in for a full set and not only was it far more expensive than other salons in the area(they charged $ 45 and most other salons charge $ 25 – 30 for the same thing), they hurt me while removing my old nails and the new nails looked awful afterwards. I got white tips, and the lines were uneven, plus my nails weren’t all the same length afterwards. I will not be going back.

Cute nail salon! One of the nicest and cleanest I have seen in albuquerque. … Really nice tiled floor and cool ceiling and back stacked stone wall. There is a cute waterfall thing too when u walk in. It does need a little better ventilation though because sitting in the waiting room I felt like I was getting high off fumes… I came in on a Tuesday at 3pm and had to wait quite a while. But everyone apologized about the wait. They offer everyone full 16oz bottles of water which is a really nice touch I didn’t get a pedicure today but noticed they have Human Touch massage chairs which are really good. My technician was really nice and did a great job with my gel manicure. They have a really nice display for the gels and what they are capable of with acrylics. All in all this is the most I could expect out of a strip mall nail salon. Definitely will be back!
