Bridesmaids beware — We had a one hour appointment for 5 bridesmaids to try on dresses. There were 3 other parties with appointments at the same time. This is a tiny store and quite overwhelming with that many people. We were told that the girls would have to share dressing rooms. I expected more professionalism from a store such as this.

Not too happy with Alfred Angelo right now, and I’ll explain why: I did not schedule an appointment at their store due to the fact I’m a bridesmaid and the bride had already picked out the dress and color for me to go in & order it. I went in early on a Saturday morning and had to wait 10 minutes for anyone to even say Hello to me, which was quite obnoxious. I understand they were busy, however a quick «hello, we will be right with you» would have been a proper greeting. The girl who did help me (she was nice, I forget her name) finally greeted me after 10 minutes. I let her know I would be in a wedding in September in Ohio & I needed to order my dress. She looked up the color and style number. I didn’t realize how small this store was, until walking in. (on a side note– I just got married a few months before and I ordered my wedding dress from David’s Bridal). She showed me the style of the dress in a size 18 (I’m a size 10 according to her measurements) and in a different color. I was a bit disappointed they only had the dress in this size and she suggested not to try it on just to take measurements. I’m like OK fine, no clue how its going to look, I was just annoyed by how long my wait was and wanted to get in & get out. Once I went to pay I was told I came in too late and I would need to pay a $ 20 rush fee to get my dress on time. Now, this is my main source of pain: there was MORE than enough time and I have to pay an extra $ 20? Not cool, this dress was expensive already. Anyways, I still haven’t gotten my dress. I called and it wont be here for another 3 weeks. I don’t understand why they take forever. My Bridal gown from David’s only took 4 weeks, what is the hold up? Also, I’m nervous because I talked to the bride and another bridesmaid (who lives out of state) got her dress in and there is a stain on it, with no time to order another one. I would say just go to David’s if you have a short engagement and don’t want to pay «rush» fee’s.

Oh how I miss our original sales person. She was sweet, extremely knowledgable and helped us pick bridesmaid dresses that look good from size 0 – 20.
Problem was, she left.
Worse problem, no follow-​up from the store and no one else picked up her customers. Thank goodness our original sales person was so good and was clear about how long altercations took and what needed to be completed at one time.
I understand that a lot of retail jobs are commission-​based, but this fact could not be more clear in this situation. We all bought and paid for dresses months ago. They have the money and the new people don’t find us a priority anymore. It’s unfortunate, at best.
I’ll update after my fitting appointment to see if my mind has been changed at all.

The store manager did reach out to me and refunded the cost of the zipper. I appreciated her reaching out and trying to make it right.

The staff is very sweet and helpful. As for the dresses, the wedding gown selection is quite large and beautiful and I was pleasantly surprised at how affordable they are. Even though it’s my sister getting married, I am totally the Bridezilla; but I was impressed. They treated her like a queen! We finally found the dress and I am so thankful to Alfred Angelo’s staff for all the help. We will be going back to check out bridesmaids dresses.

I have been in and out of this store over the past 6 months as a bride getting married in May. I can honestly say I have never been treated so well in a store. The employees really go out of their way to make you feel like you matter and are being listened to. I came in the store yesterday to have a consultation about my dress I ordered 6 months ago. In the past 6 months I’ve lost 30 pounds and was literally swimming in my size 16 dress. I was dreading this appointment because I was beyond worried that my dream dress was not going to be able to work. I had a breakdown at the sight of myself in my dress. The store manager Karen, pulled me aside and assured me that they would get the dress to work. Let me just say she went ABOVE & BEYOND what I thought was possible!!! If I could write thank you a million times in this review I would. I highly recommend this store for any bride looking for a great experience with their dress. 5+ stars!

Mariah is FANTASTIC! I gave her my budget and she immediately found three dresses for me to try on. My wedding dress happens to be $ 200 less than what I wanted to spend which is great seeing how I will spend that on alterations. I didn’t even have an appointment but they made me feel welcome. Mariah helped me with ideas and I’m going back on Thursday to fit my bridesmaids with their dresses. I won’t bother to go back to David’s Bridal since they were snobby and not helpful. Thank you, Mariah! It feels like I’ve known you for years and you seem so invested in my perfect day!

Mariah was my consultant. She was very patient with my family that came to my first appointment and picked out a variety of dresses that I really liked. She listened to my budget and didn’t go over it like those sneaky gals do in Say Yes to the Dress! I did not go to David’s Bridal after hearing horror stories and am so glad I went to Alfred Angelo instead! The only downside is it takes 3 – 4 months for your order to come in so make sure you give yourself plenty of time! All my bridesmaids also got a discount on their dresses since I bought mine at AA.

The employees here are amazing at what they do. They are extremely helpful, great listeners, great knowledge in their product and the prices are great! The employees make this nervous experience a pleasant one.

I am writing this review as a bridesmaid. The first time I came here was with an appointment with my friend (the bride) and 2 other bridesmaids. It was a busy Saturday and a really nice girl Mariah was helping me. She showed me all the styles of dresses that we could pick from and explained the sizing to me. I didn’t order the dress that day because the bride was still deciding which dress she wanted us bridesmaids in. So when she finally decided on a dress, I went back to Alfred Angelos after work to get fitted for that specific dress. I walk in and there are two customers who appeared to be together and a worker at the desk. She didn’t greet me as I walked in and stood near the counter for nearly 5 minutes, then she walked off to help the other two customers. There was another working in the corner who seemed too busy to come over and ask me if I needed help so I walked over to grab the dress and took it to the dressing room myself. When I walked out, the second worker I saw just glanced at me but still didn’t ask if I needed help, so finally I had to call her over and ask her to zip me up. She replies «Oh nobody’s helping you!?» and I said «No, thats why I asked for your help» Poor customer service especially when they were not busy and I had an appointment! Secondly, they only have one of each dress in large sizes Unlike Davids Bridal where they have every dress in all sizes so you can get a good idea of what it will look like. I’m a bit nervous for my dress to come in as I spent over $ 200 on it and the store policy states NO REFUNDS or EXCHANGES?! Even if its too big you can’t order a size smaller. Anyway, they have beautiful dresses but it is a bit pricey and also customer service is not so great.

I had an AMAZING experience shopping for a wedding gown here. It was my first time trying on wedding dresses so I was really nervous. I was also dreading trying on dresses because my mom passed away from breast cancer 15 years ago, and these are the kinds of events that get me really emotional and make me miss her more. However, I had the best sales associate help me with my appointment (if you can, ask for Andrea, she was SO wonderful and I highly recommend her-​absolutely the best person to help you with your appointment).
Andrea and I clicked instantly. She sat me down and asked me some questions about my wedding and what I envisioned for my wedding dress. Then, she pulled some samples for me to try on. She explained to me step-​by-​step all of the strange girly undergarments I had to put on before putting on the dresses. Andrea really made me feel comfortable and was really understanding of my situation. I almost teared up a couple of times, but held it together. I ended up spending 2 hours there, which is normal for a 1^st appointment. Even though all of their dresses are gorgeous, I’m down to 2 dresses that I really fell in love with.
FYI — The sales associates get commission here. Since Andrea did such a wonderful job with my 1^st appointment, I’m making sure she’s there when I order my dress at my 2^nd appointment.

I booked my 1^st appointment to try on dresses here while I was at the Bridal Expo. Since I booked my appointment there, they said I get $ 100 off my dress! They also offer a military discount of 15% off your wedding dress! Since that discount is more than the $ 100, I’m going with that one. I highly recommend signing up to receive their emails for info on specials and other discounts (i.e. In October they were giving $ 100 off of bridal gowns for breast cancer awareness month).

I came here to help look for a dress with my sister. They were ready for is when we arrived. The lady who helped us was very helpful and nice. They have a nice selection of dresses that are affordable if you are on a budget.
