You cannot beat the 2 for $ 1 taco Sundays. All their other food is good too. Best tots!!! Definitely not a high class joint. But excellent food.

The food was good but the service from Bryon was the worst I’ve had from here. It took over 15 minutes to be greeted and about 30 minutes between interactions because he was either out smoking or talking instead of balancing his tables at all… overall thoroughly disappointed probably not going back

Ordered the chicken wrap, fairly certain I had food poisoning. There’s plenty other bars to spend your money at.

This is our favorite food joint in Albany. No matter what we order, it is always good! We have had the club (my fav), the cali wrap (his fav), the wahoo, the bbq burger, & we always get the tots because they are the best & so addictive. Some restraunt foods are «hit & miss» but so far we have not had one bad meal here. We don’t come if the parking lot is full though, cuz there is only 1 cook. ;)

Food here has always been good, consistent and decently priced. Service varies depending on who is working. It is a local joint, so if you don’t have any expectations and just want to hang out, it’s fun. Taco Sundays!

Excellent place. It’s mine and my wife’s first date night choice and it seems to be the same for everyone else too. Amazing food for a great price. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. One tip… if you want a pounder size you have to ask for it when ordering spirits.

Been in albany for 2 years and wilhelms is by far the BEST… THE BEST… place to get food in town!!! Awesome tots… awesome Cesar salad… the cali wrap is awesome. .tonight I had a shrimp Cesar wrap For real like You can’t go wrong! The staff has always been very nice and pleasant… totally worth the money and the crazy thanksgiving full belly every time I leave… it’s painful… but I ask for it!!!

Horrible service. The bartender is rude. Food is not that great but burgers are decent.

Walked right in parking was fine. Upon entry can tell its a local place for locals to go and hang out. I decided to sit at the bar. Was greeted by the bar tender, ordered a beer and then received the food menu. I had read on Google that this was the place to get a blue cheese burger and I was not disappointed.
Loaded up with blue cheese, 3 – 4 nice strips of smoked bacon, pickles, let, onion, tomato on the side. The burger was huge, cooked to perfection and the taste was to die for.
Beer & burger under $ 14.00 it was a great place for good food at a reasonable price.

I have been a regular customer for years now and thought Ken (Bartender) was as a friend. Tonight was the second time I was treated with disrespect. This happens again, and I will ask to speak with the owner. I’ve spent alot of money on drinks and gambling, and always tipped large or small, but always tipped damn it! Nobody deserves to be disrespected!

Love Wilhelms! We always get great service, the food is excellent and the drinks are great. Some of the other reviews state that it can be crowded but that’s because it is a great place to go and so many people like it! Get there early for a good seat but the Spicy Chicken Pasta is to die for along with the tator tots!

Poor service. Was there for a friend’s birthday Sunday– taco Sunday. Our server was clueless. Took forever to deliver drinks and food, get checks. Was rude. Horrible choice for a birthday. I would not go back.

Wait staff seems pretty rude. They pretty much get in, get orders, leave, and then walk back 20 minutes later to drop off plates without a word. Beer selection is fine, nothing special but there’s enough variety for anyone but the greatest snobs. Prices are pretty reasonable for the amount of food you get.
Quality of the food is extremely hit and miss. I ordered a bacon burger with bleu cheese and it was quite good, but my girlfriend ordered the open face chili burger and it was an utter disappointment. The patty was bland and unseasoned, the buns weren’t toasted so the chili just turned them into a soggy mess, and the chili was most definitely from a can. If you want a decent sports bar experience then this place is as good as any other, but the food and service is far behind the curve.

Terrible waitresses. They are all rude. If you like being treated like a 3^rd rate citizen then stop by for a drink.

Really good burgers, cooked very well! We go there to get food, so we don’t have much to say about the drinks or any of the bar related stuff. The food is well worth it, eat in or take out! The tots are good, they put this seasoning on it… a little spice to it. So far I haven’t found a better burger place in Albany. I think this must be it! And the prices are reasonable. It’s hard to find if you don’t know where to look, we drove by it before finally seeing the sign. But otherwise, once you find it, you’ll be back!

This place is great. The owner and all servers are very friendly and they make a mean drink. The food coming out of the kitchen all looked amazing, and I can personally vouch for the burgers, wraps, and the pasta. My burger patty was slightly over for my taste, however I never told him how I wanted it cooked so that was my bad. The thing was huge and had great fresh toppings. The fries are amazing and the soups are ever changing and homemade. If you want a good burger, I put this up there with Game Time, and if you want a decent drink, these are some of the best in Albany. Give this place a shot. I have driven by a million times, and glad I finally came in.

This place is a sports bars with slot machines. Don’t let that deter you. The food was amazing! We are from CA and are used to good tasting food… we can be a bit snobby, because we are so spoiled with where we live.
I had the best BLTA I have ever had. The didn’t skimp on anything. There must have been 6 slices of bacon and half an avocado. My friend had one of their wraps and was very pleased.

OK burger with poor service. The «salad» is nothing but cheap bagged iceberg with a few non-​homemade croutons. Am disappointed with Chuck’s 5 star rating. Our waitress was dumb as rocks.

I ordered the bleu cheese bacon burger and fries@ $ 8.50 and an overpriced beer. Food was good but service and atmosphere were an abomination. Waitress was inattentive and crude. Almost an hour to get our food, which is inexuseable when the place was near empty. We did get a side show– two morons commenting on eachother’s tattoos. Nothing says «Look at me I’m a moron» than a body full of tats. I will never go back. Should have gone to Phở King instead.

I’m surprised that this place hasn’t been reviewed yet, for how packed it is on a random Thursday night. It seemed like all of Albany was dining here. I can see why it is packed, based on the population of Albany.
I however, was extremely unimpressed. First, pretty much zero vegetarian/​healthy options. Anything without meat is deep fried and served with ranch. And I get that I am in Albany, but I expect at least a little attempt at vegetarian. Wait, I’m in Albany, I’m setting my expectations way too high.
So I ended up with a salad that consisted of iceberg lettuce, a sliver of chopped avocado, and a minuscule portion of chopped egg. Doesn’t that sound delicious and filling? Hell no! After my meal, I went home and made myself a real meal!
Add a Mai Tai and beer to that meal, and my tab came out to $ 20+. I couldn’t believe that I just wasted that much money on such a poor meal. Again, this place may be good enough for some people, but it is definitely not my style. Overpriced, weak drinks, and incredibly bland bar food.
