I was a little worried about doing a return here, because I saw a past review where someone had a hard time with a return. Also, I was coming from doing another return at a store that doesn’t give gift receipts, so in essence, I couldn’t return the item, so I was on the defense when I got to the Silver Parrot.
Anyway, I explained the situation and not only were they wonderful about the exchange, but I was looking for something else and the sales girl was very proactive in showing me merchandise and very enthusiastic to help me. I ended up buying something more expensive than what I was exchanging and was happy to give them the business. Based on the helpful attitude of the sales women, and the really beautiful jewelry they have, I would DEFINITELY shop there again!

Great little store and very helpful staff. If you like sterling silver jewelry for yourself or are looking for a gift, you’ll probably find something here to meet your needs. They have a broad selection of styles and regularly change things up. And if you don’t see something specific you’re looking for, make sure you ask, because not everything is out on display. The staff are eager to help you find something you like and know their stock well. Also, if you sign up for the email list, you will get some pretty sweet coupons and notification of upcoming sales.

Whenever I am visiting Albany, I always try to stop into the Silver Parrot. I’ve been coming to this store since I was in high school and it really hasn’t changed (and that’s a good thing). They have a nice selections of sterling silver in some interesting designs that you probably will not see many other places. I also love their selection of decorative hair accessories. They occasionally have some cute socks and sunglasses as well. I am not really into their clothes so much, but it’s fun to browse.
