This place has great pizza and I’ve never been disappointed in all the times I’ve come here. Slices are cheap and they have plenty of styles to choose from. The pizza is flavorful and It’s definitely a great place!

We are from Louisiana and visit Albany once a year. Whenever we arrive into Albany we get a large pepperoni from here bc it’s amazing! Slices are delicious

Grabbed a 2 slice lunch special here and was pretty impressed with the quality of the pizza. I’m sure a whole pizza cooked to order would be better, but this was pretty good pizza. Very quick service with a smile. .al ways nice to see.

I went to this location yesterday and received poor service. I bought a white slice and half of the slice had sauce on it. The manager was very hasty and rude when I ordered my pizza. He gave attitude when I handed him my credit card. Very disappointed.

This pizza is very good — might just about be as good as «downstate» pizza. We love the chicken parm dinner in our house — everyone always asks for that. They are nice here and work quickly but still maintain good service.

Being a NY’er born and raised then moved away to the midwest, the first thing I do when I come back home for famliy visits is to have my fill of pizza. This was my first experience with Paesans and it was amazing. The crust, the flavor, the texture was to die for. Everything that I had remembered in good old NY pizza!

I ordered 2 slices for lunch. 1st was Buffalo Chicken. It was very tasty and not overcooked like I have gotten elsewhere before. Sauce was good without overpowering the chicken and cheese. 2nd was the Broccoli fresh tomato and ricotta cheese. This was great. Tomatoes were tasty, broccoli was on the crunchy side still(which I liked), it was nice and garlicy. What was really nice was it was not soggy at all for being fresh ingredients. With both pieces, I was stuffed and nearly had an unplanned siesta at work. I will definitely get 1 piece next time, was very happy with price and quality. :)

No reason to get pizza anywhere else in colonie. If you like a crispy crust and great cheese this us the place. Dining with my daughters today we got pepperoni, chicken wing, cheese and chicken parm pizza all excellent. We didn’t get the boneless wings this time but usually do. Very good also. Kids love the soda dispenser which allows you to add flavors to the standards

In town for comic con and stopped here. The portions are just right. Calzone was generous in the chicken we asked for with perfect blend of ricotta and mozzarella. Garlic knots were some of the best I have had. Chicken parm dinner was as expected, but salad was just iceberg not blended lettuces that many use now. Dressing was kens not home made. Standard topping for salad. I would go back.

Love Paesan’s! Every year after Thanksgiving there’s nothing better than some good Italian food and Paesan’s is it! Today I had the chicken parm dinner(for lunch) and the 2 big chicken breasts were delicious in the sauce and the bread and salad were perfect. The meatball sub is also amazing: moist and flavorful meatballs just like grandma makes. And their pizza is just right: doughy crust with enough crunch, great sauce and fresh veggies. The family that owns the stores are awesome and it’s one of my favorite parts of Albany! Don’t miss it.

Had to put star to come up. & what happened to my review??? Oh & if you like cold greasy overpriced good delivered late with a attitude, call this place! I think there much better options for your wallet, schedule, & digestive system.

Ordered 2 medium pies and will not be ordering again. Very common, overused cheese and sauce flavors. I got one plain pie and one specialty pie. I think Tombstone frozen tastes better, but it’s not horrible. Also a little too salty for my tastes. I like my savory and doughy in my pizza, not salty. You know right away the food sucks in any class of food that’s using salt to make up for very little flavor.

My last visit to this Paesan’s taught me a valuable lesson about pizza. I think there are fundamentally two kinds of pizza eaters. There are slice people, and there are pie people. And now I know that I am definitively a slice person. What I look for in NY style pizza is well documented: My earlier experiences with Paesan’s involved either delivery or speeding the pizza pie home myself. Both of these resulted in an inferior bottom crust, which is tragic. However, on my last visit, I ordered a slice and ate it in the shop. And when the slice is reheated in the oven, and the crust crisps up, as it should, this is among the better pizza experiences I have had in the area. I still need to spend a weekend eating slices from my top shops to ultimately determine the best of the best. But for now Paesan’s is back in the rotation, and I expect will become a regular pitstop on the way out to the Guilderland Public Library.

Just when I thought all the good pizza joints closed, I find this gem. I forgot how large a large pizza is out here. A kid size could probably do it for me alone. I don’t usually eat the crust, it’s just something to hold on to, only exception is the fountain. Great memories of great pizza were in the first bite. I never thought Little John’s would close. I hope Paesan’s isn’t part of the Albany pizza closing curse.
