Friendly staff. Good service, nice pool. My keys had to be changed a few times but otherwise it was a grwat stay. Big comfy beds.

I stayed here one day last month. I had a 6 am flight and needed to rest up. Normally, I stay across the street at a competing hotel but wanted to give this one a try. For a new hotel, I was impressed with the look and feel of the hotel. The lobby was clean and beautifully decorated for the holidays. The business center is visible from the lobby. I was warmly greeting upon my arrival. The room was clean as well. I liked the sleek look of the walk-in shower. The king size bed was wonderful. Only wish I had a later flight. The only downside is that there was no one at the front desk when I left. I prefer to return keys in person. Other than that, I have no complaints. It was 4 am after all. I’ll visit Albany again within 6 months and will be staying here again.

Stayed 8÷25÷15. Very clean and modern hotel. High ceilings make the room look bigger. All LED in lamps — much better light than standard CFL’s. Internet was slower than normal for Holiday Inn hotels.

We were in town for thanksgiving and only staying one night, the night of thanksgiving. Somehow the hotel messed that up and reserved our room for the night before. We were able to get it fixed on our way down and get the last room available. This meant we now needed a pull out couch or roll away for our kids. Well upon arrival it was easy to see the hotel is beautiful. The design and décor is fresh and appealing and there is a pleasant smell in the lobby. Well… there was only one elevator working… the other one was slowwwww. The indoor pool seemed nice and there were guest using it. The carpeting was lovely and not stained. The room was spacious as was the bathroom. The pull out couch was small with an extremely thin mattress, 2 inches at best. I had to call down and then go down and retrieve bed linens as they were never brought up for the pull out. It took almost 20 minutes for the lady at the front desk to figure out where the roll away beds were. The kids never got pillows. They said they would bring them and never did. Good thing my husband and I had extras. Our king size bed was very comfortable and pillows were nice as well. The tv had premium channels and was a decent size. All in all its the best hotel in the area but they still have some kinks to work out. I will stay there again because the rooms are so much nicer than others in the area.

If there was a way I could give this place zero stars or in the negatives, I would. My sorority sisters and I(and God knows who else) reserved hotel rooms at this establishment for our upcoming homecoming this week. The place was set to open in June, and that’s around the time we made the reservation. Well they pushed the opening back to September. Ok, no worries. Our reservation is for October so we’re still ok, right? WRONG! One of my sisters contacts me and asks did we get a message from Holiday Inn saying that they were delaying their opening and would not be able to accommodate our reservation. We had to call OURSELVES after we heard this information elsewhere to find our for ourselves! Apparently it has to do with a permit of some sorts that they weren’t able to get in time? Are you kidding me!!! It’s 4 days before we’re suppose to be there! People are coming from out of town and everything. Now if you don’t know, homecoming is a big deal in Albany. And there aren’t but so many places to stay and they fill up fast! That’s why we were so excited a new hotel was opening and we were able to reserve so early and not have to worry about that! So now here we are, 4 days before we’re to arrive and we have no place to stay. EVERYTHING is booked up and the closest hotel is about an hour away. We called Corporate who was absolutely no help. When this place does finally open(which who knows at this point when that will be since they’ve delayed the opening 3 times now), I will NOT patronize this hotel! You can’t tell me they didn’t know before this point that they were not going to be able to open. Especially when they were suppose to open in September! I’m extremely upset and disappointed by the poor customer service and lack of professionalism demonstrated through this whole ordeal and hope everyone is able to find a place to stay and not have to forgo their plans due to poor planning of this company.
