Domino’s Pizza

Had an order for delivery and the guy saw I was home alone and had the nerve to ask me for a tip. I honestly didn’t have cash on me and he kept saying, «No tip?» After telling him I didn’t have any tip to give, he hands me the receipt and goes, «Here. You can write it here.» I said, «So it’ll come out of my debit card?» He said, «Yes.» I ended up giving him $ 2 since he would’ve leave me alone. My small 10″ pizza was already $ 21 with delivery charges and tax + pizza was cold and sorta hard and burnt at the crust… called and someone picked up but could care less. They didn’t sound too sorry. Will be calling for the manager soon.
Never have I ever been pressured to give a tip like that. like god damn. Took advantage of someone who was young & home alone. Smh. I know the struggle is real but people should not do that. So messed up.

Got a mailer with a 2-​for-​1 medium pizza coupon offer from this branch. The only disclaimer was «Handmade Pan Extra.» When I tried to order a gluten-​free pizza crust with this coupon, staff told me that gluten-​free pizza was not covered by the coupon. I talked with the manager, Tom Van Zile, and he also refused to honor the coupon, even though gluten-​free crusts were not mentioned as an exclusion. Very disappointing disregard for customer service, not to mention fraudulent advertising practices.

Ordered a pizza online last night. I only like pizza with red crushed pepper and since there wasn’t an option to ask them to bring it on the website I called the store, nobody picked up. I waited 5 minutes, called again. A guy picked up the phone and I explained to him I would like the driver to please bring red crushed pepper, his tone was concerning because he sounded like he could care less. He said sure and than started to say bye. I interrupted him to let him know who was requesting it and he said «ok» and hung up. Of course the delivery guy (who was really nice) gets to my house and he doesn’t have any red crushed pepper… I rather give my business to an establishment that care about their customers.

It’s Dominoes Pizza… I think we all know what we are going to get when we order from them: mediocre pizza that serves the purpose (we don’t have to cook, clean up, or even go get it). Therefore, I won’t revue the food except to say that I always get what I expect to get and the quality never varies. My review is for the service. In four years, they have NEVER gotten my order wrong, they have NEVER delivered my pizza cold, They have NEVER taken too long to show up or not found my place (I live in a small mother-​in-​law cottage behind another house so my place isn’t even visible from the street and they still always manage to find it no matter who delivers my food), they have NEVER failed me in any way. For that, I give them 5 stars. Well done!
I make a point to tip these guys $ 5 CASH (they prefer cash money over a tip on the card trust me) with every delivery. Which I’m sure is one of the reasons I get the top notch service I do. When my address comes up on their screen, those drivers know whoever delivers to me is gonna have a fiver in his pocket… so they rush right over.

I talked to the manager and she smelled like straight up weed. And in the same time she was talking with attitude towards me and also cursed at her workers. Very unprofessional. The pizza was alright but the service is terrible.

WORST customer service ever!!! Pizza is always delievered cold and late, if you call to as where’s my pizza? The teenagers they have working there laugh and hang up on you, I have never had such bad food and/​or service!!! I wish could rate them — stars because thats how bad they really are! avoid them at all costs!!!

Got in on the $ 7/​large deal a month back and had to throw the whole thing away. Cheese wasn’t melted and felt cold. Looked absolutely disgusting but pretty on-​par with my past experiences.
The employees are pretty friendly all things considered. But I think that’s more of a testament to the fact that they work out of Albany then anything else.
Cheap Ingredients, Minimum Wage Employees, Crap Pizza.
Don’t even waste your time. So much great Pizza in Albany, give Zachary’s or Little Star your business and you won’t regret it.

This dominos is one of the best pizza store and delivery, food is always hot and never made a mistake with my order. One of the quickest delivery I have received keep doing a great job!

Terrible terrible. I order a medium pizza with a drink on the side, And I was sooo thirsty. The delivery guy forgot my drink, like how?! Why? I had to go walking to get my drink. Not ordering here again.

This dominos has a really convenient and efficient delivery system. Also, the pizza is really good — as good as a quick delivery pizza gets. I would give it a 4 star rating but in light of all the other delivery options in Albany, this is definitely 5 stars! I always get the pizza I expect, quickly and it’s hot and delicious. Other than pizza being unhealthy, I think this fast food pizza place is the best delivery in Albany!

Domino’s has the best online food ordering system. Love their pizza and always get the same driver and he’s the best — my pizza’s actually arrive hot!!!

Normally Dominos’ is pretty solid and normally I call in an order but this time I decided to try out their online ordering. Unfortunately, their «Pizza Tracker» claimed that my order would be ready in 35 mins or so, but it was about an hour when I decided to call and ask what was up. The employee pretty much told me that my order would not actually be delivered for a another 45 mins to an hour or more. Therefore, I cancelled my order.
I think that they should fix this feature to accurately represent the wait time that takes into account the amount of orders coming in to the store. It would also be helpful to have the accurate projected delivery time displayed before you place an order.
So, moral of the story is Domino’s should not get my hopes up and say my pizza will be delivered an hour and a half earlier than actually projected. :(

I work pretty close to this location, on those rare occasions that I forget to make my lunch I will order from here (I work alone most of the time I can not leave to go grab something else). I have ordered here about 3 times so far and I decide to review.
Ordering: 4 out of 5
I like to order from the website. They have one of the best online order I have personally ever used. It even tracks the steps of your food (i.e. prepping, cooking, delivering etc.) I, personally, found this very helpful. I think it is perfect for the consumers who are fairly simple with their orders but may have its issues when running into more particular pizza orders.
Delivery: 5 out of 5
I had my food delivered today in less than 30 minutes but it never seems to run over 40 for me. Perhaps it is because I am close to the restaurant and do not order during peak times. My average wait time for pizza deliveries are usually over an hour so this is a pleasant suprise.
Price: 3 out of 5
They have some pretty good deals in my eyes. The two items for 5.99 each, in my opinion is one of the best deals I come across. However, I do not work with a lot of people and just simply can not eat that much. When ordering single items it can be a bit pricey and not as good of a deal but definitely no more than the competitors.
Food: 4 out of 5
I am a big fan of pizza, there is nothing better than going to a sit down pizzaria. I have had some pretty delicious slices before. Dominos is decent, better than what I normally expect coming from a major chain but definitely not the BEST. Their seasoned crust is my favorite part. I have definitely had much, MUCH worse.
Personally, I would recommend this particular Dominos as it has not done wrong by me yet.

Just placed an online order today. Love that feature! You can add the coupons directly and build your own pizza. And once finished you get an email to be able to track your pizza. Super cool perk. But it doesn’t seem to want to work for me today. The other problem is my husband loves to have anchovies on the side to place on top of his pizza. I really wish there was a place to have this added online. So instead I called the store to see if they could add this to my order and the young kid on the phone told me they no longer do this. I was so surprised. I’ve been able to get this for years from this location. My husband was so disappointed. Needless to say this may be the last time I order from this location.
