AT&T is so «over sold» in Colonie, NY that none of us get service or can text inside the house. And even outside the house we are lucky to get two bars. There are seven of us all using ATT, and all on new phones. All of us have the same weak coverage problem.
We have spoken with ATT on three occasions. There is nothing wrong with the house, and we should be getting excellent service since there is a cell tower less than a mile away. But all we get when we follow up with them is «we are still looking into it» but they never give any inclination whatsoever as to when there will be a solution. So folks, we all know what that means… there isnt one coming any time soon.
I did some research on my own, and it turns out that ATT oversold into these cell towers.
One of us has switched to Verizon, and it works fine. So Verizon is the choice for 12 205.
