This is the place I go to when I am craving some local Chinese food at a good price. I usually take all my family here for lunch on my off days since they have always been in LOVE with the food flavor. The service was not very good since most of the staff was either sitting or standing by the kitchen chatting. It can be said I didn’t feel very welcomed when I arrived and was only asked if I needed anything once. I would understand if all of this had happen during a rush but the place was empty with only two other tables taken and about five staff members standing around. The other issue I had with my visit was that the air conditioner seemed to almost be off which I figure happen because there wasn’t to many customers. My recommendation would be for the management to make sure staff is more attentive to customers and at least make them feel a bit more welcomed. I feel like the food is good and combined with customer service improvements it would be very successful.

Small selection of food, food taste was decent but service was horrible. Had to go ask for my own refill at the waiter station and 2 other ppl were there asking for forks & soy sauce. You shouldn’t have a single person at the waiter station asking for stuff. Speaks volume about your service. Tea tasted soapy, asked for a diff drink and the next drink also tasted soapy. Same glass? Never again. Not even for that price. Supposed to give you a ticket before you leave your table, but cashier seemed used to having people without tickets at the register. Never. Again. Stay away from this place.

Should be zero stars. Soooooooo many issues, where oh where to start. 1. The workers obviously hate their job 2. They do not understand free enterprise and the law of supply and demand. Customer satisfaction is key. The staff is unprofessional, uncaring, rude, and basically pointless. 3. They supposedly close at 8:30 on a Friday night(that says a lot) but stop making food at 8. And do you think they had the decency to tell us. Of course not. If this buffet wasn’t super cheap I’d be p.o. 4. Most of the food is tasteless but what does have flavor is gross(ever throw up in your own throat?) 5. Another restaurant that serves instant tea. So lazy… 6. They spray chemicals while you eat 7. I cannot stand places that their #1 priority is to keep ½ the seating area vacant and squash everyone into one corner and then spend much of their time prepping to go home. Give everyone a favor. Quit and stay home, you obviously don’t want to make money or stay in business. 8. The selection is disappointingly small. 9. Egg drop soup was turning gray. Scary! 10. My kids said ewwww this is gross about 10 times, referencing the food and the strange tasting water(bleach?!) So if you feel adventurous, don’t. Go eat anywhere else. But if you do eat here I recommend only: egg rolls, rice noodles, spicy chicken dish.

I think this is a super good place to eat Chinese! I’ve gone several times(in a row!) and I can’t get enough of it! I’ve tried almost every mcallen buffet and I have to say, this buffet has the best quality meat, chicken and seafood than other buffets that I’ve tried! They don’t use weird parts of the chicken and everything’s always fresh and good, I can eat my whole plate without having to be picking at my food and not liking most of it which is why other buffets annoy me. I like going for dinner because you get a lot more options for $ 1 more($ 7.45 I think). There’s not as many options, but I can eat every single option in this buffet which is way more options than I would eat and actually like at other bigger buffets. I even prefer this buffet over all of the sit in Chinese restaurants that I’ve been to! And that’s saying a lot because before this, I never liked going to buffets and would prefer restaurants but this buffet has definitely changed my mind! :)

The takeout portions are less than half the size of the other Chinese spot in town. That being said, the kung-pao was way better than the other spot. I’d come back here since the fried rice was really good.
