great people work here. manager included. always good food and the best Chinese food in the Mcallen area. Would recommend to anybody that likes chinese food and try the almond shrimp. It’s worth the little extra.

The worker that took my order in the drive thru was very polite, but the workers inside had messed up my order. I ordered a plate with white rice, teriyaki chicken, and mushroom chicken and asked if I could get the sauce on the side; as well as a bowl with chow mein and sweetfire chicken breast. Opened the plate, and only saw mushroom chicken and white rice. Opened the other take out container to see only sweetfire chicken and chow mein. Called to let them know that they had messed up my order and see if I could get a comp or a refund if I came back and manager picked up the phone and didn’t seem to give one rip that they had messed up and over charged me. His first response was«okay…» That was literally it. This kind of response would NOT fly in hawaii.

BRINGYOUROWNFORK!!! Food was good, service was NOT. What good is great food if you can’t eat it… Why? There are no forks or chopsticks to eat it with. If you tell the staff, they’ll punish you and refuse to give you the the cookie that comes with the kids’ meals.

This review is for a friend of mine who spent 2 full days on the toilet after eating there : He had the Fire Chicken.(Fire in the Hole Chicken) He later went to another location as asked them to make his meal fresh, due of the«Last» episode. They said all the stuff in the coolers are for show, and the prepped food comes out of a bag, and there fore we cannot make your food fresh. So, he left. :)

The worst place to get Chinese, but the quickest. I got the beef and broccoli and some lo mein. The b&b was really chewy and cold. I stopped eating it after three bites. I was disappointed. The lo mein was at room temperature and was gross. It was cold and some parts of the noodles were crunchy? Ugh never again am I eating here unless I plan on wasting my money.

It was pretty good. My kids liked the orange chicken, although after eating for a while they thought it got too spicy. The few bites I tried were good but I’m not a huge fan of Chinese food with that much batter and sauce on it. I had beef and broccoli, which was bland and my least favorite version I have ever had of it. The teryiaki chicken was good, I got the sauce on the side and the sauce was tasty and good on my rice as well. Some parts of the chicken were a little darker meat than I like, but at least it was tender. I liked that it was a nice atmosphere for fast food and clean inside. The music here is awesome if you are in your 30’s like me, ha ha.

This place has the best fast food orange chicken around the rgv. Cheap good food. Guaranteed to get fat here. I love it! Service is quick too. Only thing is drive in does take a while. Thanks for bringing this down to the RGV.

Good food. Good price, always consistent in quality. Whenever you are craving Chinese food, this is the place to go. You can get noodles or rice and many entrees for every taste, they have the classics like beef and broccoli, Kung Pao Chicken, Teriaky Chicken, Sweet and Sour, and more. You can always sample anything they serve so you can decide. That’s a good thing since that’s how I made Beijing Beef one of my favorite things to order there. This is also a place where you can eat something light, for example, you can get a bowl with steamed vegetables and Teriaky Grilled Chicken. The staff is always a bit slow to serve, while there is something about staff not appearing so rushed they are just dumping food on your plate, there is the other extreme when they are moving so slowly it takes forever. This is important here because there are always people waiting in line. So, expediency is key. One thing you don’t find here when it comes to serving your plate.

Good food. MY favorite is sweet heat! I also like the teriyaki with the sauce added. Everything is always fresh. Just always make sure that the noodles are soft enough as sometimes they are a bit crunchy and that isn’t right. This place is always packed and they need more seating. The store is really clean but one thing I never like is hearing employees talk negative or lazy. The manager was sitting down eating talking about he guesses they’ll do the extra cleaning as the big boss might come. The store always looks pretty clean and it should never be a I guess, especially around guests(rhymes!) Presentation people.

I love Chinese food, and this place is great, I always start with the chow mien over the fried rice,(I think its better). They recently began to offer the Shanghai Angus Steak, which is my go to dish now, as well as the kung pow Chicken,(love it), the egg rolls are also good. The service is a little slow during the lunch hour of course, so be warned, but over all it is pretty good, a little pricey but good.

I was impressed with the clean kitchen. The food was excellent and I had enough to fill me up without stuffing me. Very friendly staff. I’ll be going back.

I was very exited to try this place out but was very disappointed with their food. Why bother investing so much money in a beautiful restaurant when the food sucks?

Not bad for a chain – actually, it’s better than most of the locally owned Asian restaurants. No problems with either food or service. I noticed that a previous reviewer complained about«fatty chicken” – authentic Asian cuisine normally uses chicken thighs rather than chicken breasts(that’s an American adaptation). Excess fat should always be removed regardless. Not saying that Panda Express is authentic, LOL, just making an observation.

I tried the mandarin chicken. The chicken was pretty fatty, and I didn’t taste even a hint of anything mandarin in it. The egg roll was pretty darn good though. This place just opened, hopefully the staff will get their act together soon. I had to repeat myself three times when ordering. I do not mumble, the order taker was more concerned about getting me to up-size my drink for $.20 than she was in listening to my order. I will try again in the hopes that service and food quality improves.

It’s Panda Express… I got the Orange Chicken bowl. The fried rice was way undercooked, too many crunchy rice kernels. The Orange Chicken was okay-ish, I remember it being better, I’ll try it again in a few months after they have their ish down right. Bleh!
