I have downgraded my review to 1 star. In the past week I have needed their services twice. Each time it was CLOSED despite the fact that I checked their website and Unilocal to make sure I was visiting during their posted business hours.
I stopped by in the morning on a Thursday, and they were not open at 10am as started on their site. Last Friday I stopped by at 6pm (site says closes at 7pm). NOPE, they were closed. They have lost my trust and I would not consider them reliable or convenient.

Came in for fingerprints. The guy/​owner was really unfriendly. I asked if he could also mail the prints for me and he quoted some crazy prices. I like doing business with local merchants, but I would not come here again nor would I recommend the business.

Came here for livescan. Only $ 25 plus whatever govt fees. Fast easy and quick. Called in ahead of time. No appt needed!

I came here for a finger print live scan and everything went perfect, the owner was very nice, he also does packing for ups, FedEx and has professional equipment for passport pictures and I believe there is PC with Internet you can rent and print, also make copies. He is open until 7 pm. What a great experience to get everything done in one place. FYI this place is half a block from the Bart Station (16th St.)

The owners recently moved their business from Alameda to the Mission. I happened into the store on their first day because I needed a notarized document, and recently went back when I needed passport photos taken for my German passport. On both occasions, the owners were very welcoming and friendly, and were well-​versed in the intricacies of non-​US passport requirements and the power of attorney I needed to put together and have notarized. I highly recommend this family business if you’re looking for quick, professional, friendly service!

While this place is a bit of a ‘hole in the wall’ with a little bit lacking in furniture and décor, I couldn’t have asked for more professional or courteous service. I was immediately welcomed into the shop and the proprietor, Mr. Kumar, helped me promptly. I had a few questions about the process since I haven’t been to a notary in years and he patiently explained things for me. I didn’t compare prices to other places, but I thought $ 10 was a very reasonable price. All that and it was on my way to running other errands at the Alameda Towne Center. Very convenient!
