How many people can say they love going to the dentist? Raise your hand if you are a patient of Dr. Shane’s! He and his team have the best service of any dentist I’ve been to in 25+ years. Add to that: I have to have extensive dental service due to grinding and breaking my teeth and previous crowns. Dr. Shane was the first dentist to accurately diagnose my issue, and work up a treatment plan. They are extremely flexible with insurance (I even had to leave the Gainesville practice I fell in love with, and sent many people to when my insurance changed). Now, my whole smile has changed, for the best, and I can’t wait to flash my new pearly whites at my wedding later this year. It is a scary thought that you may have to undergo multiple procedures but after my experience, I know I am in the best hands and insurance concerns will be dealt with in the least stressful way possible. If you have any questions or doubts, they will work through it with you until you are confident and smiling brightly!

Alachua Family Dentistry is a great dentist. My entire family goes to them and really like them. I went to another dentist and needed a crown, so I went to Alachua Family Dentistry for a second opinion. They also recommended a crown, but charged half as much, with better materials. in all my dealings with them they have been very honest, kind, helpful, and reasonably priced, and stand by their work. The only thing is their main location is in Alachua (brand new), which is a little drive from Gainesville, but in my estimation worth it.
