Days Inn Downtown Aiken

This the worst place ever, everything about this place is tore up from the floor up and the wifi really suck. I checked in at 4 and the breakfast food was still out. .never again will i return to days inn anywhere! !!

We decided on a last minute trip to Aiken, and wanted someplace nice, comfortable, and moderately priced. Over the years we’ve stayed at various Days Inns. Some have been wonderful while others are so-​so. This isn’t the worst we’ve encountered, but it wasn’t great.
The staff is really friendly, however, the accommodations leave something to be desired. The rooms show wear and tear, although there are new mini fridges and microwaves. The bedding is old and scratchy. The pool was nice, but obviously hadn’t been cleaned.
We’re not likely to choose this location again.

Were moving from California to Aiken. Coming from a bigger city i was bummed to see that most hotel/​inns in Aiken are 2stars, so we came to this place with a premeditated negative attitude. when we first came here i complained because it is really old. but once i got to meet the owners i refused to go anywhere else!!!
The owners are so nice! They’ve made us feel welcome in a foreign city. They have helped us find a real estate agent who has dropped everything to make sure we find a house in a short period of time. They have helped us with getting to know the stores and even offered to drive us around town to get to know the neighborhood… REALLY, over the top nice. you don’t find that in California!
We’ve stayed at a few other places and this inn is definitely the best. not mention the price is amazing considering were staying for a long period of time! And its very close to downtown.
The room is decent and spacious. Most importantly it is very clean! You’re in Aiken and you’re probably not going to get the Ritz Carlton unless you want to spend $ 200 a night!
So I definitely would recommend this place if you’re looking for an affordable long term stay :)

This is motel, not a hotel. Old at that. Worse part of an otherwise great trip to Aiken.
