I used to be a regular at Krazy Karaōke. However, due to circumstances we no longer go there. Last night was our first night in a long time since we went to HMC. I called and spoke to John and instantly had a reservation at 9– closing. John checked us in and was super nice as always. We got room 2. We only had 4 in our party so room 2 was perfect. The bigger the room the better the sound. The sound system was perfect in Room 2, the a/c was so cool and for those that gets hot irregardless theirs a Fan located in all the room. We had no issues with the system, sound or video. Extremely large selection of songs from old to current. We are definitely going to be regulars at HMC now. Love he fact that they have beverages for sale and at a reasonable cost. Each time I go I never have an issue with service or sound system. If I could suggest one thing is to stay open a little later on the weekend. However this is not a downfall. Even the owner is nice. All the associates there is nice. See you all soon gamg

At first glance, this place where any very appealing, but I promise you it’s a good time!!! As long as you have the right people with you you’ll have a blast! Rooms aren’t badly priced at all. They come with a cooler and ice and its byob and bring your own food. Definitely recommend it

So, we went here yesterday and I gotta say … I was pleasantly surprised at the cleanliness and the size of the room. I loved it!!! They had coolers and ice for us already prepared. The guy at the counter was pretty friendly. He was cool to us. Wish we had more people come out but it was still a fun time!!! Would definitely come here again.

If my favorite karaōke spot is unavailable, then this would be the next place i’d go to. Really reasonable rates and EXCEPTIONAL staff! The rooms are clean and nice and the song selection is great! Only downside that keeps me from giving 5 stars is that the system is a little outdated with having to write down songs and pass it to the employees,(although they are blazing fast with those things) you aren’t really able to just skip the song without having to tell them and it can be a little bothersome. But other than that this place is amazing! Rooms can be a little cold… but all you have to do is ask for some help and they’ll warm it up for you.(That can be a blessing when you’re getting drunk.) Great place to have a great time.

PROS: Clean & nice room. Coolers & ice available. Decent song selection. CONS: The particular staff working the night I went were not very friendly. Yes we did the drunk-linger at the end of the night and I get they want us out ASAP, but no one was belligerent or rowdy and frankly they were rude. Would I return? Yes, but after trying for Krazy Karaōke first.

Love the large rooms, plenty of seating and tables for eating and to lay our food. The food area is away from the seating or «lounge» area which is great. The only negative is that the music is controlled by the front desk, you need to write your music from the song book and bring it to the front desk on a sheet of 5 songs listed. There are a lot of books listed in alpha order by artist or by song title. Unfortunately, the desk clerk kept on messing up and more than once got the wrong song. We asked to skip it, but was told couldn’t had to play the entire song. We had a party of 12, reserved the room for 4 hours and it wasn’t enough time, especially with the wrong songs being played. Despite that all, I love the spacious room, everyone was comfortable.

The only reason ii rated this place a 2 star is because of the worker. We decided to come out as a family to celebrate my nephew. Everything was GREATEXCEPT that grumpy worker out front… I completely understand that he is doing is job, but the guy NEVERSMILED, when asked a question, he belatedly look irritated because we interrupted god knows what he was doing, oh wait, its STRESSFUL to in put songs for the people whom are keeping him employed, ii think that was the problem… This guy clearly is UNHAPPY working at this place that everyone is at to have a good time… There is a clear box to put ur list of songs in, totally understand that, thats where it goes, but unless he tells u, u will miss the box that it goes in. When approaching the counter to give him ur list of so he tells us to put it in the box, so okay as we go to put it in the box, he proceeds to watch us n as soon as we put it in like literally as soon as we take our hands of the paper he is grabbing it out of the box. Like SERIOUSLY you couldnt just take it from us wen we were handing it to u??? Our family had the time of our lives enjoying eachother, but this dude didnt play half the songs we requested, MOST of the nite he was playing the WRONG songs AND taking long to play the next song, again is his job that hard? To bad HMC got workers like this because unfortunately we would rather go bck to KRAZYKARAOKE instead where the girls are friendly n we can input our own songs n not have to deal with the attitudes…

Been coming here since I was young. We had a party of 15. We usually come in with a much larger party and get the extra large room with ac, but the room we were assigned was kind of small for 15 but we managed. Really love this place and songs are always updated when we come! Will be returning in the future!

This place is clean and neat, the parking is ok if you get there early. The staff is scarce, but ok. I think if you add up the minutes in between the song requests, they should give us an addition half hour at no additional charge, just saying.

This is an «OK» place. Service is just ok, nothing to be highly expected I guess. Just a bunch of rooms with outdated TV’s. Yes you can bring your own drinks and food. Renting a room you’ll get free songs of course. Good for parties.

Don’t judge a book by its cover! This is the spot for quality karaōke and a good time no matter if you’re 21 or 71! It’s a clean establishment with private rooms for you and your friends/family. They are accommodating enough to provide a cooler full of ice to your room. I like that you just need to fill out a slip of paper to give to the workers so you don’t need to fumble with a confusing system! It’s BYOBAND bring your own food! Most importantly, THEIRSONGLISTISUPDATED! I’m here in mid-January 2015 and they have the hits(and some) from 2014! Even Blank Space, which came out at the end of the year! My next karaōke shindig will be here, with no stuck-up workers or dress-code…this is the chill karaōke place I want to be at!

This is a review for John at HMC, went there to ask a big favor, they are located across Kuroda Radiator in Aiea, My wife’s car radiator needed replacement, It had a bad leak and wasn’t sure how long it could be driven in traffic. I went in there to ask if i could leave the car overnight so it wouldn’t over heat in the morning traffic, He was Awesome and accommodating and understanding to my situation. Please support HMC Karaōke!!!

We hosted our costume karaōke party there last Friday. The staff had our room all set up on time with our two requested warmers and two coolers with huge water coolers filled with ice. We requested an extra fan and they brought it right away. We rented room 9 for three hours and ended up extending it an additional hour. The room fits 30. We had 17 people there and that felt comfortable, I don’t know if I would want to stuff too many more people in there, it was nice to have room to swap seats and such. The song playing was prompt. There was very few skips or abrupt stops during the song play and they had TONS of songs. For the flat rate($ 90/hr for that room) you get to play as many songs as you can squeeze into the time and get to bring your own food and beverages. They let us decorate the room for Halloween. Admittedly the room was very messy– we tried our drunken best to clean, but I feel bad about that– the staff said it was fine though. Today we even got a thank you note from them for hosting there. We are already planning our next event!

Hmmmm… not what I remember it being. Bad acoustics and the video discs keep skipping. I remember back in the day when this place was awesome. I recommend to do a renovation to bring life back to this once awesome place.

Kind of a standby place for karaōke get togethers. There’s nothing really special about the amenities, it’s a pretty average place. It’s somewhat older now, but not really rundown. It’s always mostly been more a space for groups to drink and party that happens to have karaōke available. Song selection tends to be relatively up to date, but those old standards are Still available. It’s generally a pretty dependable good time.

Just hosted a surprise party here, and this was a great place to have it. Bring your own food and drink, people can sing and dance all in the privacy and comfort of your own room! They will provide warmers if given advance notice, they also provide ice and coolers. You can even decorate(just no confetti or streamers). The song selection was generic, but good enough for us, it had songs that everyone knew and could sing along to. They even had an international song book which was super cool because someone in our party chose a song from it! The room we had was really nice. It had leather couches and was big enough for up to 30 people. The screen was really large which made it easy to see no matter where you were in the room. They are on the pricey side, especially for a Saturday night(the most popular) but it was money well spent since everyone seemed to have a blast! = Parking lot is small, so if you go during peak hours, it will be hard to find. I even received a «thank you» card from them, which made me feel that they appreciated my business which was a super nice touch! I’m sure we will be back!

They aren’t completely up to date with their song list, but it’s okay. They’re still pretty ‘hip’ :P I came here with 4 other people and it was only $ 18/hr. That is great. You can bring your own stuff to eat and drink, including alcohol. The rooms are pretty clean and cool. One of the biggest complaints that I(and I am sure a lot of other reviewers) have is that we have to write it down on a piece of paper and hand it to the person outside. I almost feel like it’s cutting into our time. The staff is very helpful, I really appreciate that. There is a good amount of parking. I think I will go back here because it’s not all packed like other karaōke places I’ve been to.

First time here and here are my thoughts. Pros: 1) They do have new songs. I am surprised. 2) You can bring food & liquor. I can only think of 2 pros, so 2 stars from me. Cons: 1) Parking is not too good. They allow double parked, so some of us can’t leave until the staffs find out who is blocking the car. 2) Room is old. 3) Mic is bad. Make your voice sound weird. 4) Waiting time is too long to play the next song. You actually have to write down the song numbers & give it to the staff and some of us have to wait 1.5 hrs for their songs to come out. It’s like there’s no order of who hands over the song sheet first. I, personally won’t come back, but I think my Coworkers enjoy that place, so I prob will be back.

Good place for karaōke! Just remember to get a correct head count of the people who are coming, they charge you for the number of people and per room. I did not like that you had to write down the song you wanted to sing and place them in the window for one of the workers to put on the TV for you. It wasted time in between songs with long pauses before the next song started. The songs we requested were not even played, a lot were missed. It was cool they did allow you to have pizza delivered and bring your own food and drinks inside and did not card everyone in the room or check to see if everyone was 21 and over. There is not much parking, so I suggest you carpool. They did have many newer songs to sing, which not all places have.
