The margaritas are really strong which is a plus. The burrito was really watery and didn’t have anything inside like lettuce salsa. :(

I love this restaurant. I’ve been eating here since I was a little kid and my entire family comes here almost weekly. It’s great Mexican food and reasonable prices. But, really… come here for the margaritas and amazing service! I often describe Latigo Kid as a Mexican pub, where the waiters know you and will take the time to chat and see how you’re doing. It’s a neighborhood restaurant where you always feel welcome. I could not rate the service higher. If you’re looking for a super fancy place this won’t be your cup of tea. But if you want good food, you’ll enjoy yourself. If you’re looking for recommendations, I’d say the shrimp(or any) fajitas and Cadillac margaritas.

The food here is clearly not at all high-quality. The dinner salad that comes with the entrée is only iceberg lettuce and an olive. Nothing else. The steak fajitas are smothered in a red sauce so you can’t taste the bell peppers or the onions or the steak. Steak was chewy, and I have really big teeth. Salsa for the chips is spicy. Will burn your mouth a bit.

Always a treat. Family values shine through from top to bottom. Meals always consistent. You always know what you’re getting. Big favorite of our family. Love the new location. Highly recommended. If you want fancy this is not it. If you want value for money, always adequate portions and great service. Then this is the best Mexican restaurant in the area hands down. Special thanks to Hoover our server and his brothers for always having the welcome smile on.

The Latigo Kid has been a family staple for longer than I can remember. I have so many happy childhood memories at the old restaurant in Wizhin’s. But I do really appreciate the new location. It’s much newer(cleaner) and is pretty with the paintings and dark walls. The food has remained the same since the old place and is great. And the margaritas are even better.

Our waiter was the best part of the meal. He had the patter going, and was knowledgeable about the menu options. The food was mainly good; nothing remarkable, but was filling. Seemed to be heavy-handed, «old school» Mexican restaurant fare. Over all, the atmosphere /ambiance, dishes, lighting — all seemed to be on the heavy side. Not an upbeat feeling. Wouldn’t rush to come back. There are better options in the area.

Love this place! It reminds me of a place in the San Fernando Valley that I loved and is too far from me now. Latigo is now across the street. Great service, delicious food and awesome margaritas! I tried a few other places and they weren’t even close to being this yummy.

Expect cheese, lots of cheese. The food is good… the salsa is good… the margaritas are good. The service is friendly.

My work has ordered catering from here a couple times. The food is alright, but it’s pretty average Mexcan food. I do not consider this place to have anything that really stands out to set itself apart from other really good Mexican restaurants in the area. Let’s start with the pros; the mini chimis were pretty good and the chips tastes fresh. I also thought their margaritas were very strong, I got pretty tipsy off of one. Cons: The salsa, although pretty spicy, is just a basic tomato salsa. The salad is pathetic, it is literally just lettuce and nasty black olives, I can make a better salad at home. Their enchiladas and chiles rellenos were pretty greasy, when I tried them, not a fan of those either. Also, I would have to say their beans look absolutely foul, and the rice falls flat. I can think of sooo many smaller hole in the wall restaurants that cook authentic and unique Mexican food that could make your mouth water. This place just does not do it for me.

Traditional Mexican food with great seasonings. I’ve had green chicken enchiladas with salad, rice and beans. So good! They are very professional and friendly staff. Always filling up your glass with your drink. The waiters are very helpful and it’s just a nice quick place to come too and enjoy without waiting 30 mins for your food! It’s so fast that I absolutely love it seems like going to a fast restaurant ! That’s how fat you get served here! Five stars!!!

The Latigo Kid, a cuter than cute name. Standard non-exciting dining room, nice looking bar with multiple TV’s. But was it cute enough to keep my business? 1. Chips are great, thin and not too greasy. Salsa taste like the base of the tomato is made from can or jar, then they add fresh onion, tomato, and green pepper. 2. Crispy beef taco, cheese enchilada, rice, and beans. The entire plate except the taco, needed salt, as all was very bland. Plus, the combination plate cost $ 15.50. Wouldn’t order this again. Boo. All the gents were very nice that worked there, so an «A» for service. Bar is fine, but food is a bit average. Come for a margarita and a game — that’s it.
