My family has been going to Mimo’s for years. It’s because they do a great job for a reasonable price!
I purchased a ring that was far too big for me. When I dropped the ring off to be resized, it was a misshapen mess. (I was too eager to wear it and squished it narrow enough to suffice.)
Ara was incredibly sweet and bent it back into a round shape, free of charge. I felt bad having to tell him that I actually needed it sized down too!
After $ 25 and just a day’s wait I have a gorgeous, silver ring that fits. And you’d never be able to tell any work was done on it.

I brought a watch of mine, a quartz chronograph, to many watch repair shops over the years. Ive had bands changed, batteries replaced and general maintenance questions. This is the first watch shop I went to who tested my battery and watch before trying to sell me the battery replacement. I have had this battery in the watch for 6 months, and his test showed it was still very good. A few shops have told me I need to replace my motor/​wheels due to my second hand stopping intermittently. Here, my watch was inspected and oiled, along with a battery test which proved that it did not need replacement. I have not had one person offer to oil my watch for me to help alleviate this problem where the secondhand will get stuck, and did not ask for any money. I would gladly have paid for his analysis and the mild servicing. Le Château watches seem to be their main vendor, but a lot of good bands and jewelry of other sorts are here. Worth stopping by for watch/​jewelry repair needs if youre coming to Agoura. Will be back, myself.

Ara has done an incredible job of repairing and servicing my 150 year old Patek Philippe watch; finding difficult parts and keeping costs reasonable. He’s a true craftsman, and cares deeply about the work he does. Ara also made a custom pendant cross to wear on my neck, melting down four other diamond and gold pieces of jewelry I no longer wore to create the new piece – which is strikingly bold and very well done.

Mimo’s is great for jewelry repairs. I believe the same couple has owned it for many years. She is always pleasant! The quality of work is great, and the cost is always minimal.

I had this wonderful couple restring my mother’s pearls from her wedding for my wedding. I added a beautiful pendent to the necklace. They both had wonderful ideas and were very helpful in my picking out the perfect fit. I highly recommend them. I also brought some earrings which were beautiful and wear daily.
