Taco Bueno

Found a hair in my food. Wouldn’t be an issue but the root is still attached. Just gross.

November and it was very cool outside. They had the inside so cold it was so uncomfortable to eat. Told manager and she told I know. I guess the help was more important than the customers. Good good but you had to eat it fast before it froze.

Someone needs to tell the girl who takes orders at the drive thru to not talk so fast, I can’t ever understand a word she’s saying because she’s talking so damn fast. On top of that, she’s definitely not very friendly. Horrible person to take to go orders. I’d almost rather drive to a different farther location just to avoid coming here and having to deal with her at the drive thru.

Me and the boyfriend always come to this location. We both agree that a weeks ago the lady working the drive thru was drunk! She was slurring her words and it was just weird. Also, their hours are never consistant, but always love the party burritos :)

Checked this place out today for the first time as it’s super close to my new home. Walked in and it felt like T-​Bell. I got the Big Freakin’ Taco (approx 8 inches long) and was very pleased. For $ 2.80, there was like 3 – 4 tacos’ worth of meat in it which was AWESOME! I loaded up on red sauce and was in my happy place. I gave this place 4 stars because you get a lot of bang for your buck and it’s marginally better than T-​Bell. Go get 2 Big Freakin’ Tacos and see if you’re still hungry, I dare you.

Keep it simple: order the crispy beef tacos and you can’t go wrong — I crave these things and don’t forget the salsa — yumm E! Service at this location is spot on, they have never screwed up my order, are friendly and fast. Just like I like a fast food drive though.

ehh. it’s fast food. their tacos and burritos are slightly better than taco bell. you are better served going to one of the many other taco joints that serves legitimate mexican food around dfw

ok… after going here & then reading the reviews… what can i say? oh yea… the truth… i understand it’s fast food… it’s overpriced fast food!!! way overpriced… i pulled up & ordered 2 chicken soft tacos… to my knowledge they dont have lettuce & tomatoes on them… so i added lettuce, tomato & sour cream to be added… please tell me why the total came to $ 7.08…wth!!! are u serious taco bueno? that just reminded me why i dont eat there!!! i politely cancelled my order & went right around the corner to another restaurant that has way better food & got 3 tacos w/​everything i wanted it was like $ 0.10 more but i got 1 extra taco & everything i wanted on there w/​a side of sour cream!!! taco bueno can rot in hell as far as i’m concerned!!!

Great food every time. Fresh and incredibly fast. Love love love the beef mucho nachos. Excellent diet coke. For dessert my hubby loves the cream cheese or fruit empinadas (or whatever they are). Highly recommended.

I knew better.
I really did. I knew that, as Julie B. mentioned, Taco Bueno’s fast food. It’s not gourmet. So I made sure my expectations were riding low. I was still disappointed.
Ordered the street taco’s in brisket and bistec.
They were both gross and tasted like what I image Tex-​Mex Aplo would. I say that because the meat seemed processed and the «flavor» was like a Spanish bouillon mixture that wasn’t diluted enough. The tortilla was flimsy and ripped. I think they know this and give you two flimsy tortillas per taco for a reason.
It was all bad. Bad and wrong — even for fast food.

I came here last night from what felt like a long day of traveling from San Diego to Dallas. I would have preferred Taco Cabana but for some reason they were closed, so I settled on Taco Bueno. When I lived in Dallas I used to think this place was good — a step up from Taco Hell. There was a location right around the corner from where I worked, I think I ate there at least once a week. But after several years, they’ve managed to take a couple of steps back. I went through the drive through and ordered a chicken taco and a bean burrito. The service was quick and efficient.
Now on to the meal: The chicken taco was ok, white meat chicken, lettuce, and cheese in a soft flour tortilla. The bean burrito was just that. Dried up beans with hardly any cheese (did I need to ask for extra?). The salsa was mild but tasted fresh.
Maybe it was because it was 9:30. Maybe it’s just that I haven’t eaten this crap in 6+ years and I forgot how awful it really is. Either way, I hope I don’t have to go back.
