Dixie Septic Tank Service

Hands down best around — excellent work, prompt service and very courteous. Went out of way to not damage new sod that was placed just before I needed his service and came out quickly for that occasion as emergency call. Even my realtor recommends him now — really does good job.

Recently had another septic tank backup and called Dixie for service. It turns out that I had a field line issue so the truck guy had Randy, the owner, come out and check it out. Rather than try to sell me a new system like some other companies have in the past for lesser problems, Randy said he thought he could repair ours. Indeed, Randy had us get a diagram of the system from the county (Cherokee) and dug up the field line at the tank. As he moved away from the tank, he found that there was a hump that kept fully ²⁄₃ of our field lines from having any drainage at all. Our house had been using ¹⁄₃ of its septic system since it was built in the early 1980s. Because of Dixie, the repair was a few hundred dollars instead of a new system for a few thousand. I’ll never willingly use another company.

My dad had used them in the past so I thought I would give them a try. My house to my knowledge has never had the septic tank pumped (we moved in about 2 years ago) and it was built in 1999. We were getting a sewage smell and couldn’t tell if it was coming from the neighbors or us so we thought it was time. I was pleased with the work that Troy did and my conversations with Randy. I will use them again.

This is an excellent company! Randy, Troy and Bud were extremely polite and quick to respond to my septic needs. Not only did they pump out my tank without any problems they also fixed my landscaping by extending my pine straw island. They even included a new bale of pine straw. They totally exceeded my expectations. Thank you!!!
