The best Chinese food I’ve ever had.
The sweet and spicy soup had fresh chunks of ginger and you could taste the white pepper. The egg rolls were handmade. And my friend rice was a good sticky rice, not the soggy, slimy stuff you get when restaurants are trying to cut cost.
The décor was pretty average, but after 6 hours of driving, we were ecstatic to be enthusiastically greeted just a half hour before they’re posted closing time.
The service was great and they happily accommodated our somewhat large party. And even gave my kid brother Ketchup without making a face.
My food tasted fresh, the ingredients were quality, and the service was awesome.

Love their food, but I picked up my food today after work and my fortune cookie package was all air. –_​_​_​–

It’s a really good take out Chinese food place. They offer the best lunch specials around, it includes a soup and egg roll for a nice price. It’s got a nice dine in area and the service and people are always friendly. The food is really good when you compare it to other take out Chinese food places in the area. I think some of the negative reviews was due to people expecting a more authentic Chinese restaurant. It basically a more upscale take out Chinese restaurant that you wouldn’t mind seating down and dining at, just stick with what you would get at a take out place.

Just wanted to freshen up my previous review. I have been getting Chinese food at this restaurant for the past several years and they have never disappointed me. A few times I get home with take-​out and found that something was missing, but no problem, I called and they had their delivery driver bring it right over. I don’t get some of the negative reviewers complaints, have you tried «Best food in town» disgusting! This place is the best in the area.

China Sea’s food is amazing, but the front lady who takes orders is terrible. To start of with is about the service. You know how you expect a excellent service but instead she gives you a mean look as you are getting your food for free. We expect a nice smiling face as we walk in instead she gives us a mean face. As again the food is amazing but the service would get a 0 stars.

This place used to be a ⁴⁄₅ for us. It’s a little more refined than the typical takeout chinese restaurants in the area. It even has a nice dinning area for those that rather eat-​in. However I must say we have been pretty disappointed the last couple times we’ve ordered. Most recent example was last night. We ordered takeout. My wife ordered her usual and i ordered mine, Steamed Chicken with Broccoli. When I received my entrée, the amount of chicken to broccoli was sad. I literally finished the chicken in a about 3 bites. We typically share the entrée but there was literally nothing left to share but broccoli. When we called to take issue, we were dismissed by saying «typically there is always more broccoli than chicken». That makes zero sense. Good restaurants take criticism well because they want repeat customers and acquire new ones through word of mouth. We have been repeat customers. Maybe times are rough and they have to scale back but it was ridiculous. We are hoping this isn’t a forming trend with the place!

The place was completely empty around 7pm on a Sunday night, so we decided to take out. The food was your typical take-​out Chinese food, nothing more nothing less. The staff was very friendly, so that’s a plus. There might be better places to eat in the area, but in a pinch China Sea isn’t that bad.

Place sucks. They don’t give you a lot of food to say the least, its dirty as hell inside I don’t see how people stand to sit and eat there, nobody speaks English, and the customer service sucks. I have no idea how this restaurant is still even open. Don’t waste your time or money in this shithole.

We’ve eaten here many times, and also had takeout many times. China Sea has the best Chinese food in the area. Quality ingredients, always well prepared. The sesame chicken is a favorite, as is the moo shu pork. Service is good. Never disappoints.

We tried this place last weekend while visiting Atlantic City. Overall, we thought this place is a not so good Americanized Chinese restaurant. We tried the Gen T’s shrimp and it was coated with this nasty batter and the sauce was too sweet. The salt shrimps had the same nasty batter over it. The hot and sour soup was neither hot or sour and there were a couple of pieces of tofu. We also tried the house special steak. It was a piece of overcooked steak on a sizzling plate and then covered with some vegetables in brown sauce. We probably won’t be back here again.

I don’t even like to eat Chinese food that much but when I do I go to china sea. It’s clean, friendly and the food is better than the other places in the area. And they have the best fish tank in town!

The food is close to authentic chinese food. the service is great. you won’t be dissappointing for sure.

Very good, stopped in for lunch. I order the Generals Tsao chicken, it was very good, along with hot and sour soup and shrimp egg roll. Service was excellent.

I’ve been coming here since they were located in Linwood. It’s the best sit down Chineese restaurant in Atlantic county in my opinion. Every dish is fresh and tasty!
My wife and kids agree. We come here for dinner once a month and I bring the guys from work here for lunch too. They give soup and an egg roll with every lunch

First time I ordered and they messed up 3 simple orders after having it repeated. General tso chicken was pretty nasty too

I got the Special Ho Fun & it was bland. Typically with a rice noodle dish you get extra soy sauce when you get the order for take-out…I got none.
I’m sure this place is better represented than what I experienced just from watching other dishes go by as I was waiting for my take-out…worth a 2^nd try.

It’s hard to find a Chinese food restaurant that combines great quality and taste!
China Sea is hands down the best Chinese restaurant in the area. I get the general Tso’s chicken and it is always perfect. The amount of food you get is plenty too!

Seems like pretty average, heavily Americanized Chinese food. came for dinner. if you choose to eat in, they give you a different menu with higher prices. if you get food to go you can eat for less than $ 10 but if you eat in the bill will be $ 15 – 20. service was quite good, waiter was very friendly. quantity was reasonable, i just thought the place seemed like any sit down Americanized Chinese place just like one would find in a strip mall in Casper, Wyoming or whatever other Middle America locale. the interior leans somewhat in the direction of elegant when compared to most of the other Chinese places in this area, which are more of the primarily take out variety.,

Good service. Great soups. Egg rolls. Reasonable prices. I know this a quick hit but its what I look for in a mom/​pop Chinese restaurant. Not many others in town either.

This is one of my favorite places to eat, especially when I cannot decide what I really want. The service is always great, knowing the owners helps. Everyone is friendly and my order is always correct.
Thanks to this place natural brown rice is my new best friend.
I usually get rice loaded with veggies. The dry noodles are really good, but I try not to eat too many. It’s like eating too much bread.
When its all said and done, I never feel stuffed. The portions are just
right. I would never eat at any other «Chinese» restaurant around here.
Over the past few years, the prices have gone up a few dollars and they charge a few bucks more than similar restaurants, but it’s totally worth it.
Anytime of day is good to eat here.
