Good pizza and fine service. Great given the middle of nowhere location and lack of other options!

Best pizza in New Mexico, best pizza I’ve ever had, hands down. And I am from Florida. The owner is a sweet and welcoming woman that makes your pizza with the freshest ingredients, the crust is unlike anything else you’ve ever had. It’s a must have, don’t miss out.

Excellent pizza. Crust was thin and crisp, ingredients fresh, sauce and cheese really tasty. Very glad we followed the Unilocal recommendations. Would go there again in a minute. Wish I had pizza this good at home.

Who would ever guess that you’d find outstanding pizza in the middle of nowhere? Just down the road from Ghost Ranch, between Santa Fe and Chama, this little gem of an eatery run by Marta Uribe, owner and pizza matron, serves up New York style pizza to die for. While you can’t get a beer to go with it, you can take it next door to the Las Caminas bar(and drive through liquor purveyors) to order up a local Monks ale, another outstanding local offering. Marta is rightly proud of her pies.

Delicious pizza! 5 stars for that. Tiny place, eat outside at a picnic table. Mamasita was friendly and took good care of us. Will definitely go back next time we are here.

Fresh and hot pizza hit the spot after hiking Plaza Blanca. Stop by if you’re traveling through the area. No indoor seating — picnic tables only.

I eat a lot of pizza, but this little place is the best I’ve ever had. If you are visiting the area, you owe to it to yourself to stop in. The crust is thin and perfectly crunchy/chewy and the cheese is real while milk mozzarella. I had the roadrunner with pepperoni, sausage, and green chile. It was so good we went back for dinner.

Stopped by last week with my girlfriend after hiking at Ghost Ranch. Pizza was very good. Sat outside. This place has a lot of character. The owner(I think she was the owner) was very helpful. Great place to stop…

Great place for a quick bite(esp. pizza) on the way to Abiquiu. Friendly and knowledgeable owner(former New Yorker) about the area. On way to O’Keefe’s house from Taos/Santa Fe.

Delicious! …feel free read the other reviews for details, but really just read that one word and know that you should stop by there if ever you’re driving through Abiquiu. It’s not just good pizza for being in the middle of nowhere, it’s great pizza regardless of the location.

We tried the Roadrunner pizza that has pepperoni, sausage and green chiles on it. Not only was it an excellent pizza but the green chiles gave it a great New Mexican flavor! Mamacita was very welcoming to us Floridians making this post hike lunch well worth it!

After a 5 mile hike, starving and thirsty we couldn’t wait any longer so we pulled over. Don’t get swayed by the initial pitch(2nd best pizza in NM, blah, blah, blah). Everything after this point was downhill. We ordered our pizza and waited outside in the sun since there is no inside seating. While we were waiting we realized that we should have left our soda cans inside the building so we went inside to put the cans back in the fridge and were told«don’t touch the fridge’. We then finally received our pizza which was okay if you haven’t had pizza before. Tastes like any other pizza with green chilis on top. We then politely asked for plates but were denied and were told to use the pizza box. Because of her attitude and mediocre pizza, control your hunger and drive a few more miles and eat some real PIZZA!

This place has brilliant New-York-style pizza! The owner is a real treat herself, but her pizza seriously satisfies every desire you could have when craving pizza! Set on the outskirts of Abiquiu, NM, this little place, literally just a pizza kitchen and nothing else, has massive flavor. I got New Mexico Green Chile on my pie. As a native New-Mexican, I have high standards in green chile, and this was the stuff. It wasn’t as hot as I like it but it was flavorful, which, as any chile conniseur knows, is the important part. Beyond that, the pizza dough is made fresh and hand-tossed daily with an amazing sauce which is fresh-made as well. Also, the owner uses 100% Mozarella as the cheese, which is light on oils(making it a non-greasy pizza). I can’t recommend this any more! I live in Santa Fe(about an hour away) and travel just for this pizza!

for those of you who follow my pizza reviews, yall know i rarely give 5 stars. especially on my first try. well theres a reason this place has consistent 5 star ratings. it deserves them. im going back tonight, by the way… mamacita is a great woman. very sweet and attentive. the product is great. the crust has excellent character, whole milk cheeses, nice spiced sauce, fresh toppings. the bar next door is fun and the proprietor is friendly, so have a drink while you wait, and mamacita will call the bar when your pizzas ready! see you tonight!
