Oh, man. I was really looking forward to eating here, but my Reuben was really bad. I’m pretty sure the sauerkraut was rancid. Or just terrible. Either way, it was bad. The staff were super friendly and it says a lot that they knew quite a few customers by name. It’s a bummer that my sandwich wasn’t good — I was really hoping for something delicious.
We also got some doughnuts. They were pretty good, just a little stale (it was 2pm).

I absolutely love this place! The food is wonderful, the staff are friendly, and the prices seem very fair. I would definitely recommend this place (especially right when they pull out the fresh doughnuts)!

We stopped here for breakfast passing through VA. The restaurant had just opened and the fellow at the counter wasn’t the friendliest. Food is delivered to the table but you order at the counter. The girl bringing the food to the table was very friendly. Floors were a little sticky for just opening up.
Food was reasonably priced and cooked just right. Enjoyed the hash browns. Even though it was counter service, they did bring coffee refills. Very interesting donuts that I need to check out before we leave.

We stopped in on our way through Virginia when I saw they had doughnuts and sandwiches. We tried the turkey and cheddar wrap and the ham and cheese, grilled on multigrain bread. Both were pretty good. Not my favorite sandwich or wrap ever, but they were good and I would eat them again.
I was more interested in the doughnuts anyway and I was not disappointed. I tried the bacon with maple icing doughnut and the glazed with chocolate drizzle and cream cheese in the middle. They were both delicious. The bacon that they crumbled and put on top of the maple doughnut was really good.
I think the same people might run the snow cone shack across the parking lot that we also tried. Everything was reasonably priced and tasty, so we will probably go again since we stop through that area several times a year.

My husband and I stopped by after finding it on Unilocal.It did not disappoint. My Reuben was very good and my husband ordered a sub and a cup of the homemade tomato soup, very tasty. Then we bought fresh donuts for the trip home. Yum!!!
