Terrible people who run this place. The first time I went in to this place was for a quote, the lady working there, Georgia, quoted me $ 17.99 for a package. During the whole discussion she moved up the price to $ 22.99, I figured, since she was an older lady I would just pay the $ 22.99 price and not remind her about the first quote. She asked for a zip code for these quoted prices by the way. The lady seemed a little cold, not a people person and came off as a little rude but the price was reasonable and cheaper than UPS by far. Anyways, when I got my package ready, I brought in my own tape and my box and took it in this second time. Georgia was her usual cold self and when she was helping put the tape on she put these EXTREMELY small pieces of tape on my box and expected that to hold, she got upset when I pointed out I had my daughters childhood pictures in this box and that those pieces of tape wouldn’t hold a box like this together. After the package was done and I was getting ready to pay she told me the total for this package(tax excluded) was $ 29.99…so that’s a whole $ 12.99 difference from the ORIGINAL price. She told me because I didn’t give her my address and only the zip code that is the reason the price was up. I explained that she was the one to ask for the zip code when quoting the price and that she never asked for an address, I would have provided that. She had such an attitude and I explained that I thought she was being rude, then her son approached from the back office and yelled, «WHATDIDYOUCALLHER?!» I explained that she was being rude and he proceeded to yell, «get out of here!!!» he also tried to make me pay for the tape I brought in on my own! This place may be a few bucks cheaper but for the service and the way they make their customers feel, I’d rather pay a few extra bucks to someone who has customer service. I run my own business and I know I would never treat my customers the way that this family treated me.

My husband and I had to go to Abilene, Texas, suddenly, in August 2013 as a relative passed on. While we were there we helped clean out her home. My husband and two other family members selected items of her’s to have sent home to three different addresses across the U.S. — ours’ being in Central Oregon. As we had limited time and were far from home we were glad to learn of their service. We didn’t leave Shipn Go with the most organized piles for them to come, pick up, package, and ship to us(freight). But, not only did Bobby and his staff get everything to us, they packaged everything very carefully, kept in touch with us about the freight’s delivery date, and were available when we had questions. It was a reassuring thing to work with them with such precious, irreplaceable, family belongings. To be clear, everything that was supposed to, got to us, and in excellent condition. Nothing was missing, broken, or lost. We recommend Shipn Go in Abilene, Texas without any reservation based on our experience. They did a fantastic job.
