I visited the museum last week to view the infamous crying Kurt Cobain statue. I arrived right at 10am which is when the museum opens. I wasn’t bothered by a single person whilst viewing the statue. The staff we quiet and respectful and helped me purchase a t-shirt that even came with a Kurt Cobain cookie. I was advised not to eat it, and«in about a week you’ll be able to nail it to your wall». Again, their staff were welcoming, polite, kind, and humorous. The only issue I had was they weren’t set up to take cards, just cash. I had to walk to an ATM and return to purchase my shirt. I was visiting for the day from Seattle and I really didn’t find a huge problem with that, it was a nice day and I had plenty of time to retrieve cash. Others may not feel the same, and in the future i’d suggest getting a card swiper. You may run into an irate«customer”/museum patron who may think differently when asked to get cash for a purchase.
