Entrecopes Restaurant Tast & Loung

We stumbled upon this restaurant on our way back from the museum in the afternoon so we decided to stop in for a quick bite to eat. It seems like the brick walls are a common feature in most restaurants in town and this restaurant is no exception. It had a rather narrow hallway that leads to the main dining area, which is very cozy. The décor is more modern than expected. There was a group of ladies having lunch and they all seemed to be enjoying their food and wine.
Since we were not particularly hungry, we only ordered two single entrees instead of the menu of the day. I had a smoked salmon tartare and my boyfriend had the mushroom risotto. The salmon was very flavorful and the fresh cherry tomatoes added a refreshing touch! The risotto was very creamy and delicious! We were both very content after our light meal! I prefer a restaurant with more character which this restaurant lacks. However, the food was excellent!
