Un sitio muy agradable, con buen servicio y un precio correcto para lo que ofrece. Que, en lo culinario, es muy, muy bueno. Espectaculares las alcachofas: sencillez plena de sutilezas y buen sabor.

just had the worst meal of my life here. husband and i went for dinner tonight bc it was literally 1 block away from our hotel. waited for 30 minutes to get seated-which we didnt mind since we didnt have a reservation but the food was terrible! had the croquette platter which was nauseating. had one and left the rest. husband had bad sirloin which was terrible salty and i had the broccoli and mushrooms with prawn which were just swimming in oil and disgustingly salty. had 2 bottles of water which were great and to top it off, this restaurant gives you bread and charges you for it. I never asked for it. if you were gonna charge, at least let me know! the only good thing was the friendly wait staff. food was TERRIBLE. worst $ 80 spent over.

Muy pero que muy bueno. El menú, delicioso y con raciones generosas sin tampoco convertirse en exageradas ni muy pesadas. Ya sea la ensalada que pedimos, que era un variado de verduras y hortalizas para tres, que dio realmente para todos sin cansar; o los platos principales: bacalao ajoarriero y dos solomillos de ternera, deliciosos y la carne se deshacía en la boca. Pedimos que nos cocinaran los platos de una forma concreta, evitando aceite, y no hubo ningún problema, igual que cuando pedimos que no se aliñara nada. Los postres son de fábula, completamente caseros, pero me supo raro que no tuvieran fruta fresca y todo fuera bollería, helados… De precio, bien, menos de 30 € por persona sin vino(miento, dos vasos de txakolí, un agua y una cola). Para repetir sin duda alguna.

Yum, Yum, Yum… is all I can say. My hubbie and I were on a stroll for dinner and stumbled across this place. Let me say it was a pleasant find. I was excited to be seated by the kitchen so watch the magic happen. I was able to see all the work go into or meal selections and was pleased to see them all made on the spot to order. Once seated they provide a started of fresh cheese with olive oil and balsamic drizzled on top. That I must say was great start. We then ordered their croquettes which are a mixture of different kinds such as black ink squid, mushroom, and a fish one. All were fantastic, I have to say it was a tough call on favorite between the mushroom and the black ink squid ones. We then indulged ourselves with the artichoke flowers. They were so delicate and delicious. We then ordered the pig cheek stew and the grilled fish on the menu and both were fabulous. Other dishes i wish I had room to try were the grilled calamari with onions and the stuffed peppers. I highly recommend a stop in if you are near one. The service and food are great. Pass on the bread, you won’t need it.

Great food! Very good meat and also a lot of typical basque dishes. Service a bit unfriendly and stressed but overall impression is worth a 5 star rating. A lot of locals here and definitely a place you should make a reservation before visiting.

Un restaurante vaco de verdad en pleno centro y no ese invento llamado Lizarrán. No se puede decir que sea especialmente caro pero tampoco es un sitio de estudiantes… La comida está realmente buena, sobre todo el pescado en el que ya sabemos que los vascos son realmente especialistas! Qué bien comen!

Uno de los mejores vascos de la ciudad. realmente cuidadosos con la calidad, en cuanto a verduras y a pescado se refiere, a mí me gusta el País Vasco y la gente vasca en su manera, así un poco ruda y maja. No me puedo resistir a cualquier cosa que lleve erizos, y aquí tienen un revuelto de erizos… mmmm

Este restaurante de cocina vasca es el favorito de mi amigo Juan. El se vanagloria de haber probado casi todos los platos de la carta. Llamé para reservar un viernes por la noche, por lo visto es recomendable en fines de semana, y allí nos plantamos. Había bastante gente, y a pesar de tener las mesas un poco juntas(esa es la única pega que le vi al restaurante), nos toco una buena mesa. El sitio en general es agradable. Para mí amigo, los platos estrella del local son las alcachofas y el rape. Al final pedimos platos para compartir, las susodichas alcachofas y el rape, y un pudin de cabracho y revuelto de caviar de oricios(erizos de mar). Todo estaba muy bueno, muy muy bueno. Por el precio, me pareció razonable(a mi amigo barato) en relación a la calidad. El trato con los camareros también fue muy correcto, tanto para hacer la reserva como durante la cena.
