Hotel was in a great location, as it’s close to Gran Via, Puerta del Sol, and Chueca is a fun area as well. We were not impressed with the quality of the room, and the bed was extremely uncomfortable. This wasn’t a huge issue for us as we were out enjoying the city most of the time; however, out of the eight hotels we stayed in during our trip in Europe, this was definitely the worst. Room was small and outdated. Hortaleza is a busy street with lots of bars and clubs in the area, so we definitely heard a lot of noise around 4 – 6 a.m. as folks were heading home drunk! Hotel service was average, but they did not provide many recommendations on places to eat in the area. We will probably try to find a different hotel for our next trip to Madrid.

A very strange little hotel. Fine for one night, but not for any longer. Firstly it is very cheap so good if your on a budget. Location wise it is ok as it is near the metro and also close to the cool Chueca area. It was a bit of a throwback with a very old style lift and the décor seemed a bit dated. The room was tiny and very cramped and the bathroom door was glass with minimal frosting for privacy. Plus the bathroom door did not close. All of this was set along side black satin curtains and sheets. All a bit strange really. Fine for a night, but don’t book for a long stay!

Las habitaciones son muy monas y están llenas de espejos! Eso sí, las camas dobles pegadas en vez de matrimonio no!!!
