fun atmosphere– located on one of the busiest streets in Sol near the Plaza. perfect for people watching. if you’re not into that. great space indoors that is much quieter and nicely decorated. Andrew & I ordered a beer, white wine, curried meatballs, and a vegetable tortilla sandwich. seemed very American to me, which was a little upsetting but it was pretty good. maybe I would order the paella next time for a more authentic experience. this place didn’t stick out to me amongst the hundreds of other fun tapas + cafes in Madrid, but there was definitely nothing wrong with it.

Food is okay. Maybe nice for a snack, but go somewhere else for a nice meal. Wait staff not particularly helpful or attentive. This is our first eating adventure in Madrid. Hope it gets better from here! Pales in comparison to the places we went in Barcelona where the food was great — beautifully served — and the people couldn’t have been friendlier!

The waiters here looks like your enemy. Very very very unfriendly! Defiantly not recommend!

First time and Madrid and certainly not my last because of this beautiful café! Great food. I loved the freshly squeezed orange juice!

Nice setting in the tourist area. They are very close to all the museums and major attractions. Try the tapas and sanwiches butbthe paella is rather plain and expensive. Nothing more than some flavored wet rice with peas and a few tiny peices of seafood.
