We went to this restaurant three times on our visit to Frigiliana and enjoyed it every time. We went there for our lunch the first time and enjoyed parma ham and cheese toasties with a side salad. When we went there for our evening meal I ordered the meal deal for 9 Euros, we had an entrée of fresh bread rolls, salsa, chirizo and pâté; I had starter of seafood soup which included a lovely soup with lots of prawns, muscles and fish and was given two portions by the waiter; for main I had the lasagne and dessert I had a homemade crème caramel. I enjoyed all of the courses and found it very very filling. We were also given a glass of whiskey each with the bill. The restaurant was very well priced, good value for money and the waiter/owner and waitress were very friendly and entertaining. Would deffinately recommend this restaurant again.

For those staying in the new village of Frigiliana who don’t fancy the walk into the old, then Las Chinas is the only option — and a good one to boot. An english-speaking maitre d’, wonderful fresh fish and a restaurant the locals are happy to frequent. The outside tables share the road with the numerous noisy mopeds of the local youths but think of it at «ambiance». Prices reasonable to good.
