Villa Flamenca

ein etwas in die Jahre gekommenes Urlaubshotel in zentraler Lage zur Innenstadt und zum Strand. Die Zimmer sind leider nicht unbedingt sauber und das Bad hätte eine Renovierung dringend nötig. Dafür waren die Matratzen neu und super. das Essen ist auf die überwiegend britischen Gäste zugeschnitten. Morgens Bohnen und Bratwurst mit Speck ist für deutsche Mägen doch etwas gewöhnungsbedürftig. das Abendessen ist einem 3 Sterne Hotel angemessen und in Ordnung. Samstags gibt es einen spanischen Abend, hier lohnt sich das Mitessen! gegrillte Gambas, Muscheln und spanische Käsesorten sind hier dann wirklich sehr gut!

The Villla Flamenca Hotel in Nerja has many positives and some negatives. Starting with the latter, The Hotel is undoubtedly has a tired look and could do with some updating. The rooms are small and the wall are thin and has little sound proofing. Here the negatives stop and the positives start. the hotel has a lot of character. The food far exceeds what we expected for a 3 star hotel. The rooms are cleaned regularly and the towels were changed most days. The staff are excellent. It is located in a residential area 5 minutes walk to the beach and 15 minutes walk to the town centre. the bus station is 7 minutes stroll. For a base to see the area and explore Nerja is perfect. Value for money it is hard to beat. and provided sheer comfort and big rooms are not your priority for which you will pay substantially more elsewhere then we can strongly recommend staying here. Avoid rooms next to the stairs and lift.
