Im Saudi female who just wear scarf and cover my head only and I don’t wear vial because it hinds my identity. I went to this restaurant and the rude waitress told not possible to have me tonight. So I wait couple of minutes and I asked him if there any possibility to make resevation for tomorrow night then he said there no possibility for tomorrow or after tomorrow or after week !!! All customers who were in the restaurants looked at waiter and why he yelled at me this way … If they dont want to have Muslim customers; they have to write and say it out loud. Instead of being rude with hijabi customer. I left and would never come back and I will spread the word to all Muslims community around the world and in Saudi if they ever visit Cordoba they wont stop by this racist restureant shame on U

We had our best meal so far in Spain at Taberna Luque. Run by husband Antonio and cooked by his wife, Maria, everything was delicious. Very gracious. Served complimentary appetizer and after dinner drink. Small restaurant so you need reservations. Don’t miss this very reasonably priced and delicious dining experience.

My traveling companion and I tried to have dinner but unfortunately the place was already full. We made reservations for lunch for the following day and it’s one of the best restaurant that we have been to. Both the service and food were excellent.

Not unlike a reviewer on TripAdvisor, we found that in this small restaurant you are treated as if you are the only customers in the world. We stumbled upon this very small restaurant whilst wandering the streets of Córdoba. There are five or six outside tables and possible not that many more inside. Luque treated us to delicious olives to start. I had the family recipe sangria which not only was tasty, it had big chunks of beautiful fresh fruit in it — strawberries, kiwi fruit, etc not the little chunks of tinned type fruit which you often found. My husband had the rabbit, and like a guy from an adjacent table, found it to be a wonder. We were to full for dessert but Antonio presented us with a generous glass of pedro ximenez to accompany our coffee — like the olives, no charge. Customer satisfaction seems to be the restaurant’s reason for being. The food, the service and the ambience have achieved this in spades.

Victorio Luque has got to be the most efficient and friendliest man who runs this family restaurant. Supposedly his wife does the cooking and he does everything else! The family also produces its own olive oil, in addition to an assortment of wines and pickled olives which can be purchased. Didn’t expect the place to be open on Mondays but thankfully it was and we were fortunate enough to reserve the last seating for the evening. We ordered the salmorejo — a cold tomato cream soup with ham and chopped eggs that was invented here in Córdoba. Also a seafood salad(salpicon marisco), hake fillet with grilled vegetables(lomo merluza fresca a la plancha), stewed bull’s tail(Rabo de toro), and pastel cordobes(Cordoban puff pastry with cinnamon stuffed with squash filling). Everything was spectacular and reasonably-priced; not to mention the excellent service we were given. I would definitely go back.

This little gem is FANTASTIC. The very best sangria I have ever had. Each glass is made individually. The lamb chops were so juicy!
