Taberna Góngora

If you stay in Cordoba for a while, you will discover that local people usually go out for tapas very often. Thus, we like to go for restaurants that offer perfect combination of homemade food at a not very expensive price. Gongora offers for me the best combination in the town (not surprising, I have been for tapas to this place many many times while I am in Cordoba). Do not miss the fried fish (I recommend to order it with lemon flavour), the «flamenquin» (if you are lucky, you will be served a huge one) and the so called «hunting meat». The also serve a really tasty homemade «Fino», the traditional wine from the province of Cordoba (be careful, with a glass you can get easily drunk :)). All the food is really Cordoba traditional, and has a homemade flavor. And you will be surprise how cheap it is! Do not be afraid to order several drinks (as you may be in expensive restaurants). 100% for visitors and tourists.
