Why I’m giving 5 stars; I’m giving 5 stars for the fact that it has great food, good service and was perfect for kids. We ate inside and everything we ordered was perfect and kids loved. Veggies were great and is so great in a city of jamon y queso! Is it the best food in town? No! Is it the prettiest? No! Is the service the best? No! But all 3 kids, myself and husband were happy. ENDOFSTORY!

This place has pretty good Vietnamese food, I can’t really speak on the authenticity of it but I’ve found Europe doesn’t do Asian food very well but this place is good. I always get the sampler platter to start and it’s good to share between 2 people. I like the green curry chicken dish and I add lots of hot sauce. It’s kind of bland without adding hot sauce but overall good place and very cool inside with all of the lanterns.

Very low level of vietnamese food, salad was dry, curry was lack of character and done without any chilly in it. Yet each dish start from 8 euro, very expansive for the return you get.

We came here after wanting some Asian food after eating tapas for almost two weeks. The place does get busy during prime hours. Wait is about 30 minutes for a party of two. We ordered the Phở and Bun. The phở’s broth was bland and lacked flavor. The Bun was dry and the beef was cut too thick and overcooked and lack flavor. I’m from NYC and they don’t have authentic Vietnamese and this place makes the places in NYC a 10. I give the place credit for the Vietnamese lanterns found in Hi An. The food has little resemblance to real Vietnamese food. Come here if you’re really desperate for some Vietnamese otherwise, I say skip it.

One of my favorite restaurants in Barcelona! The shrimp wontons are delicious, and the chicken phở is always amazingly flavorful! I have gone at lunch and dinner times, and there is always a full house. Despite how busy they are, the staff is quick and attentive, and the food is out fairly quickly. Tip: they have a great bar, so order a mojito to sip on while you wait for your table. The atmosphere is really fun with bright colored lanterns hanging from the ceiling and the patio is large and inviting for nice weather days. It is only 100 meters or so from the Cathedral, so if you are touring that area, step off the Main streets and treat yourself to a great meal!

I enjoy the pork lettuce wraps here. However, both the food is average, along with the prices

This place is great! The food is so good and they have loads of gluten free options! I visited twice in one weekend, once for dinner and once for lunch. They have a really good lunch deal, you get a lot of food for your money. The Phở(soup) is really good, but the spring rolls were my favourite! You might have to wait for a table, but it’s worth it! If you like asian food and you are gluten free you should try this place!

Line of spaniards out the door when we arrived was what beaconed us to put our names down. Caipirinhas in 4 flavors wet our whistles while we waited. Apps platter for 2, Phở Bo. All worth the wait.

I am Asian and was craving noodles but I thought the phở was terrible. The broth also tasted weird. I would not recommend if you are looking for authentic.

Very nice place to get your first impression of Vietnamese food. It is truely not 100% original, but a creative and modern interpretation of new taste. The prices are also acceptable. Today the service was a bit unmotivated, but hoping this is a rarity

We had a fabulous time visiting Barcelona and enjoying tapas over and over again but our most memorable meal of our trip was at Bun Bo. We were blown away by meals and ambiance of this fantastic place. I’m vegetarian and enjoyed a great appetizer and meal. My two children can be picky eatters but they both loved their meals. My husband had a phở and another entrée and called it delicious. The restaurant was really magical and created a great space inside and out!

One of my favourite spots in Barcelona. Beautiful location especially outdoors, cozy, yet very central. The food is simply great and they even have a menu for Glutenfree dishes. Btw– Mojitos here are cheap(I think about 3,70 €) and taste good(could be better but considering the price it’s fine).

The place is good but not authentic. It seems like it is a Chinese copy of Vietnamese restaurant. The interior is also strange… But anyway, the place is nice and the food is tasty. The service is very quick and very nice! Regarding the food I will recommend Nem(very close to the original) and also the traditional Vietnamese sandwich Bánh mì which is not traditional at all but is tasty. Bún bò is not a good option here — better choose something else.

I wish there were subcategories of stars on Unilocal to fairly rate this restaurant. 5 stars for service 4 stars for sangria 1 star for food To really claim to be a Vietnamese restaurant at least spell the names with the accents right? My husband and I were famished flying in from Venice and is craving for Vietnamese food. This place was the closest and most reviewed so we have it a go. We ordered and I quote«a lot» says our polite waitress. Combination platter: nothing was authentic, yet just way too greasy. Bo bun: sauce was too sour and beef was not chewable.(Not even gonna rate authenticity) Phở: fragrant and that was where it stopped. Soggy herbs, unchewable beef and over cooked noodles. Again, not even gonna mention taste.

I can only rate the banh mi I had here(which I got to-go) and I was a total fan! I really enjoyed the bread and pâté and the pork was so tender and it was just so different that the banh mi’s i’m used to in NYC(which I love). About the same price as NYC prices too, but the pâté made it fancy for this girl *points to self.* I might have made it less classy by walking around and eating it instead of sitting down, but I was enjoying the sandwich too much to care :) I would totally come back for another sandwich!

My friends are from Sweden and they were craving Vietnamese food since they don’t really have it there. It was ok. The food was more tolerable and bland than anything. It was ok but definitely didn’t really taste like vietnamese food in my opinion. I feel like it’s been made to the liking of people in Spain.

I stumbled upon this Vietnamese place after getting lost in Barri Gotic. It was also raining, so this was the closest shelter I could find to get out of the pouring rain that suddenly appeared. I ordered a beef phở, which was weather-appropriate. I also ordered a glass of chardonnay to accompany that. I was reading my book to wait for my food, but it arrived promptly after just a short wait. The chardonnay was chilled well, and the phở was very tasty. They provide sriracha sauce at the table, but unfortunately, they do not provide hoisin sauce. I seasoned my phở with bean sprouts and Asian mint and sriracha, and it was a great dinner. I almost finished the soup, it was quite good. I guess I have a little problem with the décor and the interior design in general. They are a restaurant, but they look like a children’s toystore. The tables and the seats are small, the colors are a little jarring(although the lights are dim enough for you to notice it, that being said, I was alone so I had plenty of time noticing it), and overall it just looks a little Willy Wonka-esque for me. That, plus the fact that they don’t have hoisin sauce makes me deduct a star from 5 to 4. Oh, it seems that outdoor seating, while available, costs a few euros extra.

Man könnte sagen, selbst schuld, wenn man in Barcelona vietnamesisch essen geht. Stimmt!

English: Vietnamese food in Barcelona! I’ve only been to one other Vietnamese restaurant in Barcelona, and it was not good. Lots of asian restaurants in the city serve Chinese food, and slap a different name on the sign(Japanese, Thai, Vietnamese = Chinese food), but this place is different… not so authentic, but the food is good. And the Phở(noodle soup) is very flavorful. The noodles are thicker than I’m used to, and they don’t have all the condiments that one usually gets with Phở, but I enjoyed the big bowl of comfort. The décor is colorful and fun, and the service is decent. I’ve got no complaints, and will definitely be back for more.

A Vietnamese restaurant was the last thing that I thought I would find in Barcelona. It wasn’t even on the radar. But across the street from my hotel was an awesome Vietnamese restaurant. Although the ingredients were not exactly what I’m used to, the food was fantastic and a nice change from eating Jamon Iberico three times a day. It’s nice to sit and have a beer(but they have a full bar) on the patio, that they heat in the winter. I went here twice during my visit and had a good meal both times. You can even bring your dog on the patio. I saw several people with their dogs here.
