best of the best. It was recommended by some of the chefs I know in Copenhagen. since this is a regular popular spot for chefs to eat out. doughs and noodles everything home made. Here is a place where you can see real craftsmanship of the chef.. Since he never cooks everything at once, it may take slightly longer time to receive your meal(It never comes out at the same time), you can really see the effort made into each dish. If you are foodie and if you think you know about food, this definitely is one to check out in Copenhagen. Rice noodles are like korean ‘sujebi’ style but more chewy, very good. All the fried dishes are very well fried. that it is totally different from chinese food cliché. soaked in oil. It is a small place but very cosy. feel like I am in hong Kong.

I give noodle house three stars not because of its cramped place — that actually feels authentic to me, like in those small Chinese restaurants we have back home in Indonesia — nor because of they made a mistake with my friend’s order, but because my noodle soup was just ok. Nothing spectacular. The dim sum we had for starters were delicious and since we were in Noodle House, naturally we ordered noodles. My friend ordered fried noodles(more like kway teow) with pork(first it came out with shrimp and then changed to pork) and my other friend ordered wonton noodle soup while I ordered seafood noodle soup. The fried noodle was nice, much nicer than my bland noodle soup. Why? I don’t know. Maybe the cook was pissed because the lady who waited on us made a mistake in taking orders(the cook did shout a bit in Chinese when we informed them that there was order mistake), but my instant ramen soup tasted better than my noodle soup. So, note for next time, if there’s any — order the fried ones, they’re much much better. They don’t receive dankort so make sure you have cash on you(these days and age??) and they don’t quite have guest toilet, so don’t drink too much with your order. I think this place is more suitable for takeaways due to its location and size.

Solid Chinese, nothing for atmosphere and tiny… but perfect for good, fast simple Chinese food. A couple of dishes a little to salty but overall very happy!

the first two minutes after i set foot in here, i knew we would be eating well. the asian mom greeted me warmly and sent her son to the back room to do his homework. after a while she turned on some background music and her son immediately told her to turn it down so he could concentrate. haha! this place is pretty small so we were lucky to get a table. we went on a thursday night and it quickly became fully booked so that two girls were sadly turned away. although we were a little disappointed that not all of the food photos on the wall were not on the menu, the recommendations from our sweet server were outstanding. we started with the nr. 5; soft, fluffy pork buns with a crispy crust of sesame seeds which were a dream come true. i mean, i literally dreamt of them later that night! after that came shaomai and shrimp & bamboo shoot dumplings. they were a little bigger than those i usually see at dim sum places, and expertly folded. we wanted to try the steamed rice pancakes but that particular night they did not have them as they alternate between those and homemade noodles. so we shared the stir-fried rice noodles with shrimp and a beef noodle dish. the texture of the homemade noodles shined through, especially the noodles with beef which were similar to udon. the only reason i haven’t given the last star is that my dinnermate said the shrimp had a funny flavour and, upon closer inspection, we noticed the… er… poop chute was not removed from some of the shrimp. that is a little gross but i will definitely be back to try the rice pancakes anyway. NOTE: no wine, only beer. CASHONLY.
